"The guy was really into Legos and video games"

Its those damn Legos! Children learn from an early age how to use them to set painful traps around their houses for unsuspecting parents and siblings.

Young psychopaths like the pain that is caused when someone steps on them with bare feet. Its a proven fact.

Dylan Klebold loved legos as a child! Coincidence?? I think not.

Has this been the first guy/girl duo to try a "columbine"

Here's a thought. In the grand scheme of things, yes one can do a Columbine attack and try to blow up a school but will they really be able to get their notoriety? I could be in a bubble since the only school shooters I've researched in depth are E&D so Cho and Lanza could be up there...

I'm glad you brought up that fact, usually people move on from the lego death traps when they get older.  But one of these guys must have perfected the pain a lego causes when stepping on it to the point that it would cause such extreme shock from the pain that you will die.

I heard his plan was to somehow get the entire school barefoot, collect all their shoes/socks and run screaming through the halls throwing legos everywhere, then starting the school on fire with flammable liquids and waiting outside the entrance laughing maniacally.

Sick fuck.

Edit: Damn one is a girl? lol.... I seriously couldn't tell and I skimmed the article honestly.

I don't think anyone will ever be able to get the notoriety Eric and Dylan got.

I would say Adam Lanaza is up there for sure, mostly because he killed 5 year olds. Cho Is somewhat known I would say, but only because he has killed the highest amount of people in a school(in the west) since 1927.

they could in theory, think about it. The shooting was almost 20 years ago. Kids will associate mass shootings with pulse, vegas, and sandy hook Dylan and Eric will always be known as original school shooters that made it become a big "thing". But when your average person thinks of a mass shooting they think of Pulse or Vegas

Just watch, they are going to push Lego control very soon. They are going to be categorized as landmines, just imagine terrorists using them as grenade shrapnel. Lego's don't kill people, people kill people. Laughing

I find it interesting that we've had dozens, perhaps hundreds, of instances where a Columbine-style plot was stopped before anything serious happens. I'm just wondering how long it's going to be until we get one that isn't stopped in time. With the sheer number of plots that keep happening, sooner or later one will succeed.

Yes, we will also need mainstream outlets like CNN and MSNBC to give their opinions, they sure know the best about this subject, they are experts, after all. Laughing

id say it would be very hard to do it these days. Most attempted shooters discuss the actions they want to take before the shooting. Even Caleb told people he would do a shooting, no one took him serious( Like Huberty when he called the helpline). To actually get someone to do this with you they have to believe that it is right to commit such horrible crimes, like how Dylan was depressed and just went along with Eric.

I know, but it's far from impossible, and I believe that sooner or later, we will have another one just like Columbine.

o for sure. Its happened in Vegas, San Bernardino, and even the Bataclan. Its like how Paddock did basically what Whitman and Clark did as they all fired upon people from an elevated postilion. yes it was unlikely to happen again after Texas and everyone thought it wouldn't, but it did in Vegas. Same with duo attacks they are very rare, but that won't stop them from happening.

It's the lego. Ban tactical assault lego. Ban boxes of lego with more than 10 lego bullets. Everyone who wants to buy lego must go through a background check and take a lego test where they need to prove that they're responsible enough to own lego. They must also have a good reason to get lego. Anyone who passes the lego check and the lego test will be given a lego permit that expires after 10 years. They can buy 5 boxes of lego with their lego permit before they need to get another lego permit to get more. This should stop those mass shooters!

You all are kidding but

Quote :
"He was really into Legos and video games, he was kind of anti-social, but other than that he was really a nice kid," Christina Sovin said.

this quote could have been written about Adam Lanza without having to change a single word. Maybe we have found the root cause of mass murder after all.

There is also the infamous bump on the head during childhood, if you have even a minor injury when you are a child, you're in trouble. On MFM they went through a run when almost every case was "Timmy was a normal child, he got hit in the head with a swing, fast forward to age 18 and he started torturing the neighbor with an ice pick"

SSCC you could be right though, I'm sure there are studies out there regarding mass murderers and their childhoods. What did they enjoy doing? Did they have friends? Etc.

In Austin a 17 year old threatened to shoot up a school. Said he had enough bullets to kill 100 people.

"Conrad Perry, 18, was charged with making a terroristic threat, a third-degree felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison."

sorry i can not post a link, accounts not old enough

Well, Adam used to repeatedly bang his head against a wall when he was a child (supposedly a symptom of his Asperger Syndrome) and he also hit his head so hard that he was bleeding just a few days before the massacre so maybe the real formula is head bump + LEGO = mass shooter (and without the LEGO you're just a serial killer).

I agree with this. Lego use seems to be the most common denominator among them. Its time the warning labels on the Lego boxes warn about more then just small parts as a choking hazard.

If Legos determine if you're going to be a mass murderer, then someone needs to keep tabs on Chris-chan. Razz
