What if their parents were at the school?

To add to the "what if" questions which are interesting I think! I wanted to venture another question.

In "A Mother's Reckoning" SK said that Dylan's dad wanted to go down to the school, SK said no, because what if you get shot and he didn't care.

What if Dylan's dad or Eric's mom or maybe their brothers got to talk to them. Or get close enough for them to see their families?

No one was allowed near the school and as we know it wasn't really the hostage situation the news claimed it would be, so the chances that they could have ran around the school are 0 but I do wonder what would have happened if Dylan's dad got to go down to the school.

I still feel that both Eric and Dylan would have committed suicide. IF their parents or brothers had been able to get near enough to talk to them, it may have pushed back the time of their suicides a bit, but in the end probably wouldn't have changed their minds.

No one could have stopped them at that point. It was the end. I highly doubt their parents would change their minds in the middle of a partly demolished library with all the mess going in and out of the school
