Subject: Eric in Columbine Video Wed May 10, 2017 6:38 am
Hi! New to Columbine and this forum, I just recently got into columbine after watching the tedtalk sue klebold did and had a question about eric. Does anyone else notice eric sometimes does these weird facial expressions? Idk how to describe it but there are examples from @11:40 he blinks hard at the camera and when he's sitting with brandi @ 18:34 he's shaking his head, staring at the table and saying something like 'kick your ass' to himself and he also does other things like make these random screeching sounds, says 'baa' out of nowhere and aggressively yawns though i wouldn't consider those that strange. I've never seen someone do things like that and it's definitely weird, is there are specific term that falls under mental illness to describe or explain what he's doing and why? I also wonder that if he did in fact have these 'moments' that it would be part of the reason some of the girls he liked rejected him because they were turned off when they saw him essentially talking to himself because i mean i would too.

Eric's just naturally kooky.

I guess it's possibly down to him being nervous because he knows he's being filmed. I think I do the same when someone sticks a camera in my face.

I have watched that video many times. Actually I'm almost ashamed to admit just how many times I have watched it. BUT I only see a normal guy interacting with his friends. Most everyone I know makes random noises, tapping fingers/feet etc when they are bored as hell, myself included. Him saying "I'm gonna kick your ass" was his funny response to something Brandi had said. I believe Eric was just making faces at the camera on or around the 11:40 mark. I read somewhere that people took those silly faces as a sign of Demonic Possession and that is what caused the massacre. Once again just my opinion guys...

3:09 - Eric with such a funny face studying the phone. Eric keeps a low profile and a bit detached, maybe he's just a little boring. By the way, when his friend, mimicking him, it is obvious that Eric doesn't like it, but he responds cautiously, just making some sounds. It's as if you sighed or rolled eyes when someone once again does something that infuriates you. Maybe the friends treated him a little dismissive, not serious. 11:40 The face that he makes is quite strange, but maybe he was just trying to have some fun or something hit him in the nose), it seems that sometimes he is really boring.

I mentioned this in another thread, but basically I knew a guy who had those tics, he did identical squeak noises, sniffing, facial expressins as Eric. He would even repeat words in weird voice without realizing he was doing it like when Eric says "Jack-off" after his friend said it.
Actually its contagious, and I did the scrunching up face thing when I was concentrating on my work without knowing it. It happens when you are around someone with it a lot.

Without reading too much into it, I think these are examples where was Eric showing how uncomfortable he was, he may have been angry or frustrated. Sometimes our emotions get the better of us and we can't keep a lid on them, when so many build up they tend to boil and the only way of dealing with them is to curse, scream or lash out, teenagers are especially prone. The way his nostrils flared at 11:40 makes me think he was angry at something, but it's just a guess. I'm guessing that these people he's with weren't close to him and he may've been uncomfortable showing his 'reb' persona in front of them like he would to Dylan and a few others.
