Extended 911 Call

A couple of questions on Patti Neilsens 911 call.

The last part that was released was with Val Schnurr. How much longer was the call after that? Did it end after Dylan smashed the computer near Patti or was she still on the phone when she went into the other room when E&D left?

I know there are transcripts but I'm wondering if we even have the full transcript available?

I believe the call lasted just under 30 minutes. It picked up shots and explosions that occured after they had left the library.

The call went on about 7 minutes after the Val Schnurr clip. Patti left the phone and took refuge in one of the AV rooms if I remember correctly after Eric and Dylan left the Library. The call went on and picked up the distant sounds of gunshots and explosions in the Cafeteria. Shortly after they were finished in the Cafeteria the dispatcher hung up, unfortunately.

Why would the dispatcher hang up? They were getting vital info on what was going on inside that school. Makes no sense to me.

There had been no response from Patti for 5+ minutes, It wasn't known at the time the importance of that specific call and they were getting flooded with calls and this one seemed to be devoid of further value.

I can only imagine how many people called 911 that day and all they heard was a busy signal. But just to my own way of thinking if I could still hear things going on in that room I don't think I could have ended that call.

I'm assuming we heard the worst of it then, once they left, Patti went into the AV room and you just heard them in the cafeteria from afar.

Who died after the exchange with Val?

That is just one of the many unknowns of Columbine. Some say that it was destroyed along with all the other evidence, basement tapes, etc. BUT then again some think that copies exist out there somewhere. But sadly I doubt it will ever be released in full.

Damn, so even if it were ever to surface we wouldn't hear eric and dylan shooting themselves....

We wouldn't , but we would hear Eric and Dylan taunting and shooting students inside.

Exactly. My own interest in the full 911 call would be to match it to the supposed released timeline of events and see if anything doesn't add up.
