| An article that was made shortly after the shooting states that Wikipedia's main display of Seung was this photo: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But it got taken down on THE SAME DAY. Wayback Machine doesn't have an archive of the wiki page that early so we cannot see the source. There's been debate whether this is Seung or not. The reason I think it's NOT him is because: 1. Seung's eyebrows are way bushier, doesn't extend outwards as much and kind of sizes up at the ends and 2. Both hairlines are pointing EXACTLY to the opposite directions LOL. 3. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] pointed out that the "HU" you see on the marine soldier's name tag means the LAST NAME. | [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Wikipedia captures every edit for an article so you don't need the Wayback Machine if you want to check revisions. Starting from the oldest revisions: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]There were hundreds of edits in the first day the page was created so I haven't looked through it but it's all there if you're up to the task. I also wanted to point out that it looks like there's a name tag on his uniform with the name "Hu" printed on it. | |

| Thanks for the link [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but on a forum that is over ten years old states that the source said precisely "from friend". Also, didn't know that those tags meant surnames all this time. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll edit that in and give you credit. |

| Seung never even had any friends. I doubt there's many pictures of him sitting alongside anybody besides classmates for Year Book photos or family. |

| This is my hammer. There are many like it, but this one is mine. - Cho at MCRD Paris Island
Cho was not, repeat not, a United States Marine. He would be embarrassed by his choice of weapons and to have only killed 32 people if he had been.
"Cho" would have appeared on the Marine's nametag, not "Ho" as he never had that as ant part of his name or "Hui" as that was his middle name.
PS- there is no such thing as a "Marine soldier". A Marine is a Marine. A soldier is a soldier. They are two very different things. One is a member of the US Marine Corps, the other is a member of the US Army. | |
