Reading the 11k Craig really didn't want to accept he was incorrect about where Cassie was in the library and the only reason I can think why he'd react that way was because of the "She said yes" myth and maybe accepting he was wrong about where she was, would also mean he had also been wrong about the story.

Sure, there was a huge pressure on him. But many other said that Eric have said only peek-a-boo before shot Cassie, also Bree was near and she saw and heard how Cassie was killed, so I believe her.

and all this religion speculations is so annoying... at least we can see the dark side of religion and aggressive propaganda, but still very disappointing. And this stupid Flyleaf song.... Pfff

Perhaps he thought he was doing right by the Bernall's by sticking to his story about how Cassie died. The Bernall's and Scott's are notoriously religious and the way it is reported that their daughter's died would fit in with the martyrdom that has allowed both families to "benefit" from that day in terms of book sales etc. Perhaps I am just cynical though as I am not religious in the slightest. It would be interesting though to hear Cassie and Rachel's reactions to the way their families reported on their deaths via a psychic (sp?). I wonder if Eric and Dylan were still alive would they have revealed how they interacted with each victim before they shot them or would they have stayed silent for the rest of their lives.

Considering how poor human memory can be, especially in intense situations, Craig probably remembers the event wrong and clings on to his belief that he remembered it right.

Craig was also very young when the shooting took place. I wonder if he would have had an easier time admitting he was wrong had he been more mature.
