Well considering that nearly every School Shooting afterwards was inspired by Columbine, I think they're right.

Well considering that nearly every School Shooting afterwards was inspired by Columbine, I think they're right.

I wouldn't say nearly every school shooting is inspired by Columbine. No one is gonna see Columbine, and think "alright, time to emulate".

I think the "Columbine effect" is on the same level as "video games caused it".

Quite a few shootings were inspired by Columbine though. I wouldn't say that Columbine is the only reason that so many of these shootings happen but I do think it helps motivate some people.
