Zhang Yiho - Daqing massacre

Thought it is good to share this obscure incident that happened in Daqing, China in 1981.

What is known about the massacre is that Zhang armed himself with two revolvers and first killed his five children, his mother, and three of his brothers. He then committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. The apparent motive for the shooting was because Zhang had an argument with one of his brothers the day prior to the massacre.

Google about "Zhang Yiho" shows a number of results, many from Quora questions. All of the questions were replied by a Pedro Rosemark, who tells the incident. Maybe is Pedro Rosemark Chinese? I tried to search the incident but my Chinese is terrible. Other than the Quora answers, the two other sources i found is a findagrave and a mass murder fandom wikia page about Zhang Yiho.

Nice post, Chinese Mass murders are fairly unknown and bizzare, i like archiving events from China on here since it is a rarely covered topic.

on finding info you may not find alot for events that happened in China tend to get covered up to avoid panic and "copycats", Chinese state media tends to release little to no details on most cases and other info is obscure to find let alone translating pages in Chinese.
