Sascha Konietzko released his formal response to allegations of links to the TCM on April 21st, 1999.
The band broke up just three months before the release of their album Adios, which was released on April 20th, 1999.

SASCHA K. wrote:
DATE: APRIL 21, 1999
FROM: TRESA REDBURN/MELISSA SPRAUL

STATEMENT FROM SASCHA K., FORMERLY OF KMFDM REGARDING media reports linking the band to the "Trenchcoat Mafia" website in Littleton, CO:

"First and foremost, KMFDM would like to express their deep and heartfelt sympathy for the parents, families and friends of the murdered and Injured children in Littleton," says SASCHA K., founder of KMFDM. "We are sick and appalled, as is the rest of the nation, by what took place in Colorado yesterday."
"KMFDM are an art form--not a political party. From the beginning, our music has been a statement against war, oppression, fascism and violence against others," emphatically states SASCHA. "While some of the former band members are German as reported In the media, none of us condone any Nazi beliefs whatsoever."

The letter can be found in its original format here.

KMFDM soon re-formed under the name MDFMK on a new record label, perhaps to avoid media attraction related to Columbine. However, they flopped after just one album, and appeared as KMFDM with a new line-up in 2001.

Sascha also informally offered his own view on America, stating that he "was entirely in love until Columbine happened" here.

RAMMSTEIN also responded to allegations soon after. I cannot find any sources other than MTV.

MTV wrote:
On Friday, the band expressed its condolences through a statement, which insisted the members “have no lyrical content or political beliefs that could have possibly influenced such behavior.”

The statement continued, “Members of Rammstein have children of their own, in whom they continually strive to instill healthy and non-violent values.”

The band do not appear in many interviews, so I doubt that Columbine was ever discussed, especially by the frontman.

It is interesting that KMFDM and Rammstein have not really discussed Columbine in much depth. But i suppose they can't really comment too much, it's understandable that they would not want to associate themselves anymore with the tragedy than they already are.
It's not something i looked into all that much.  We briefly touched upon both bands and Columbine in this thread also:
