Why the profile pictures of shooters?

Hey guys. Not trying to hate on anyone, this is a legit question. But why do a lot of people I've seen on here have profile pictures of shooters? I've seen that most do not glorify their acts (obviously) but still have them as a picture. Again, just curious, not trying to judge!

Personally, I do it because it fits the topic of this forum; mass killers. For example, if I was on a forum dedicated to guns, my profile picture would be a gun.

Personally, I'm more into Serial Killer cases then I am into Mass Murderer cases and since the other members here have used True crime photos. I decided to as well but with a Richard Ramirez picture instead.

You're on a forum dedicated to shooters, people are usually going to use a shooter avi. Same for other forums about other stuff...

But for real, I think we have these pfps for a myriad of reasons. I change my pfp based on who I'm most interested in at the moment. It used to be E & D from the zero hour doc
