As I said in other articles, Pekka Eric Auvinen should have much more observation than is commonly done.  I will present the parallels between it and Norse ancestral belief, which influenced it through heredity.

1: The Odin's Self-Immolation
According to Nordic mythology, Odin, in order to obtain knowledge of the runes and pass it on to humans, hung for 9 days with a rope around the dead neck, over Yggdrasil, the tree of the 9 worlds.  after that, he resurrected and passed the knowledge of the runes to humans and other beings of the 9 worlds.  Essentially, this myth expresses the nature of sacrifice, as a means of disseminating and obtaining knowledge by a people or person.  the main reason for Pekka's attack was precisely this desire, through sacrifice, to spread knowledge.  and he really fulfilled his wish, because today we are talking about him as well as many others.

2- Violence against society
Unsurprisingly, the Nordic peoples were considered brutal in their actions against the empires that existed at that time, such as the Roman Empire and the peoples of present-day Saxony.  It is interesting, however, to point out that the Nordics lived in an extremely solid, hierarchical society.  therefore, the conflict has always been one of cultural and social supremacy.  Pekka never actually advocated the total destruction of society for nothing.  he always defended a society based on natural laws, in a natural order.  In fact, in his manifesto he makes this clear in several passages, such as the enslavement of people considered weak by strong people.  it is also important to note that the Nordics were extremely important as they became the fathers of numerous European dynasties and creators of various cultures.

3- Suicide in battle
For those who know Nordic mythology, you will know about the greatest desire of Nordic men, which was to die in battle in an honorable way in order to be taken by the Valkyries to Valhalla, in Asgard.  it is clear that Pekka did not believe in the afterlife, which is even more impactful, as it demonstrates his courage and determination to manifest his ideas to the world, but he has the same essence as his ancestors who believed in such a belief.  the idea of sacrificing oneself for the sake of an idea, value or principle is more than present in the Nordic peoples and even the non-basement of enemies, which can be declared by suicide in battle.

4- The fun
Pekka sure enough during the attack was in a mixture of ecstasy, joy, anger and adrenaline.  while listening to music on his MP3, he made his attack on society.  as I said, in the past, Nordics lived in battles, the same feelings.  obviously with a proper post mortem anchorage.  however, again, Pekka has not disowned her ancestry in any way.  even the fetishes he had, also contrast with his ancestors, especially if we observe the behavior of the Nordics during the invasions.

These 4 points make it clear that Pekka can certainly be considered a Modern Norse, or as the Romans called it, a modern Barbarian.
