- Elliot was a radical misanthrope.
- Elliot's manipulation of data demonstrates that he planned the attack and created a rhetoric to pass for the eyes of observers as a victim of society.
- Not only did Elliot know about other cases of school shootings and attacks, he also actively researched and was an admirer of shooters like Seung-Hui Cho and George Sodin

Elliot had been planning the attack carefully since 2012. If the goal had always been the fraternity, he would have known how the entrance works, who was there, the times, everything. comparing the two cases, state of consciousness and also taking into account the preparation time, it is practically ignorant to accept that Elliot really aimed at the fraternity, as the target of the attack, because if that were the case he could have easily entered by checking the time or breaking into the entrances through the weapons he had in his car on the day of the attack. which means that, in fact, the Brotherhood was a scapegoat, and this is confirmed when we consider that he architected his media narrative. The suspect's apartment (6598 Seville Road [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]) and bedroom were searched and photodocumented pursuant to a search warrant.
The suspect's bedroom was in a state of disarray. The room was cluttered with numerous items
strewn on the floor. A laptop computer was on top of the suspect's bed. The screen was flipped
open and turned on, displaying a YouTube page acknowledging that a video had just been
uploaded. A screen shot from the suspect’s “Retribution” video was visible on this YouTube page,
which was illuminated on the laptop's screen.
The fitted sheet on the suspect's bed had numerous slash and stab marks on the corner. several
areas of this blue-colored fitted sheet contained dried blood consistent with drops and smears.
Several pillows on the bed also had numerous stab marks in the pillow cases. The presence of this
damage suggests that the suspect may have been practicing his stabbing/slashing movements in
order to rehearse and prepare himself for the attacks against his victims.
A long-sleeve, button-up shirt and denim pants were found on the bed, entangled in the sheets and
bedspread. A significant amount of dried blood was present on the sleeves and front, torso-area
of this shirt. The majority of this blood was confined to the ends of the shirt sleeves, near the cuffs.
The denim pants also had a significant amount of dried blood concentrated on the front of the pant
legs This evidence suggests that the suspect wore these clothes when he murdered Weihan Wang,
Cheng Hong and George Chen. A television stand was located on the opposite wall from the bed. Two open “Monster” energy
drinks were on the stand next to an array of miscellaneous items. One empty 9mm Glock magazine
was on the stand next to a single unexpended round of 9mm ammunition.

One open bottle of Maine Root brand “Ginger Brew”
One open bottle of Raventos i Blanc Reserva Brut 2009 CAVA (Spanish champagne)

Now let's understand. Elliot didn't kill his colleagues because they would stop him. he planned what he was going to do and deftly arranged the room in the most convenient way, as stated in the police report, and went on the attack. that's a point. another important point is to note that Elliot has come to have another personality, and this one was clearly under his control and was self-induced. what is strange is to observe that he wanted to create a story in which he was the character and that, in the end, he ended up collapsing in rage against humanity and this is where we come to the reason for the attack. Elliot created a character that was more than an alter ego. it was himself. he described the story and followed it like in the book he wrote. what confirms this is that he took aspects and lines from countless games, movies and others and attached them to his story, treating them as his own thoughts, beyond, of course, the actual occurrence of the attack, the convenient manipulation of the narrative totally against his daily life and, finally, the crime scene, manipulated in an artistic way. it's pretty clear that the 2014 attack was not misogynistic at all, but rather that of an insane writer, whose writing turned him into a character who, in the end, ended up attacking society.

Elliot created a book that was his manifesto, which is actually a self-created fictional story, and decided to put it into reality.  and yes, he used the term to gain notoriety.  literally he wanted to transcend the barrier between fiction and reality.
