Subject: Rare Mass Shooting Locations Fri Jan 06, 2023 6:10 pm
Plenty of mass shootings have happened at places like schools, malls, bars, stores, restaurants, factories, parties, hospitals, etc. But what are some locations where few or no mass shootings have occurred?
I can think of a few
Pools. The only mass shooting at a pool that I know of was in San Diego on April 30, 2017. The shooter, Peter Selis, was on the phone with his ex-girlfriend when he started shooting people. He killed one woman & injured seven other people before cops shot him to death. He sat in a chair the whole shooting. Movie theaters. When considering how notorious James Holmes is, it's odd that not many mass shootings have happened in movie theaters. There was also one in Lafayette in 2015, but beyond that, I do not know of any others. Blimps & Hot Air Balloons. I can't find any mass shootings that happened in blimps or hot air balloons. Although, I'd be more surprised if I could. Space. No mass shootings, or any crimes for that matter, have happened in space yet.
What are some others?

Arcades would be one of them. You'd think a person would target it in order for them to get "the highscore" in the most literal sense. Furry Conventions: How anyone hasn't shoot one of them up yet is a fucking mystery to me. Homeless Shelters: The only mass shooting targeting it that I could find would be this one in Kentucky [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Bahá’í Faith Temples: With a religion that is pretty much globalism, you'd think someone would attack them. Either an atheist, religious fanatic or Saint would be the perpetrator. Masonic Lodge: While these lodges have been attacked before with arsons, u̶n̶fortunately nobody has ran amok there yet.

Not really if you've grown up in a farming area. That festival was to celebrate the town's famous crop, Garlic. There are festivals all over California celebrating different town crops. The Garlic festival was definitely one of the most famous and popular.
By attacking that festival, he attacked the whole community. He ruined what the town stood for. It's genius really.

Michelle Cannarozzo and Mateus da Costa Meira commited mass shootings in Movie Theathers, but not in USA

I think the shootings Inside buses are rare, the terrorist attacks in groups are common, But the lonely attacks are rare, or at least I don't know of many, only i can think in 2011 Frankurt shooting and Manila hostage crisis

Interesting take and I have to say I agree with you on that, seeing as it was such a huge event for the town. Guess I didn't think like a 'murican enough! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Why has nobody shot up a waterpark yet? Think about it, nobody would be able to run because they would slip and fall and the people in the water wouldn't be able to escape and could drown.

The aftermath would be brutal as fuck too, with all the motionless bodies floating in the bloodied water. Especially in the sections with automatic sprinklers and water jets. Most people at water parks are families with young children too, which would make it even worse.

Most water parks also lack real security. Most of them don’t even check your bags for weapons or drugs.
Devin Kelly worked at Schlitterbahn water park, theoretically he could’ve done something like that.

A shooting at a water park would be very bizarre and creepy, imagine arriving at the bottom of a slide and getting shot? Going down one of those ring slides on a cold dark night is creepy.

Amuesment Parks Carnivals Underwater/The Ocean Conventions (like the attempted 2013 Boston Pokemon one) Target (suprised no one has tried to do any 'target practice' there) Burger King (Considering their rival got one in 1984) Boats/Yachts/Cruises Planes (I know theres David Burke) Forests/Woods/Trails Strip Clubs Hotels (I know Mark Essex killed some people at one during his spree) Hair Salons/Barber Shops (like Seal Beach)

The 2022 Paris shooting was in a Hair salon, The 2012 Bucarest shooting was in a Hair salon too, there was a shooting in a Hair salon in Dallas the last year, The 2011 seal beach shooting was in a Hair salon, the azana spa was a hair salon, the pokemon plot was in 2015, not 2013, Francisco Paula Gonzales shot inside the plane, like Burke.
I think you should look for more,

Off the top of my head I can think of two:
Sanna Sillanpää (Finland, 1999, 3 dead 1 injured)
And the lesser known Farsund Shooting (Norway, 1988, 4 dead 2 injured) where a mentally ill man sniped four people (with BUCKSHOT!!!) and responding medical personnel. To this day, the perpetrator's identity has not officially been revealed, and he is probably stowed away at a mental facility somewhere in my country..

Not a gun RANGE per se, but there was also the 2013 Belgorod shooting in Russia, where 6 people were killed in and around a gun store.

Dead bodies actually sink for the first few days. As they bloat and putrefy, eventually enough gas is produced to make them buoyant.

Most people don't tend to have a lot of grievances against their local swimming pool.
