Almost all Shootings are to some extent.

I've written posts agreeing elsewhere.  In fact, being interested in Columbine and not playing the video games is like being interested in the case and not watching the surveillance.

People forget about Wolfenstein to explain the Nazi stuff.  They may well have been imagining their enemies as Nazis, just as they imagined them as DOOM zombies, and then they got pegged as Nazis.

It would make sense for why Dylan wore the Soviet pin, why Eric said it was gonna be like WW2, why they carry knives like Wolfenstein (I think Eric's was even like Indiana Jones). Also, while Eric praises the Nazis, he also praises the USA for beating them and taking their cool stuff. Also that whole subtext of Eric trying to impress his military family, or to live out his military fantasy in a way he will never be able to IRL.

One would have to add Duke Nukem 3D and Blood even more than Wolfenstein 3D. Eric said the massacre was gonna be like Duke, so that one's easy. The pipe bombs and the propane bombs came from Duke Nukem 3D. Bree describes shotgun shells on overalls. Even Eric drinking Jack Daniels and smoking cigars seems inspired by Duke.

For some lesser known ones they mention explicitly, there is Rise of the Triad and Redneck Rampage.

They never mention Blood explicitly - though they never mention Postal explicitly and we know they played it thanks to Zach.

The weapons they have are from first person shooters:
1 from Wolfenstein and DOOM (the knives and spiked knuckles)
They didn't use 2 (the shitty pistol),
3 from DOOM (the shotguns)
4 from DOOM (they couldn't get a Predator chaingun or a calico, but got the zombies rifle and Arlene's Tec-9/AB-10 to replace them)

5 from Blood - they didn't have a rocket launcher to do 5 from DOOM or Duke Nukem 3D.  They attempted to make a napalm launcher, which is weapon [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in Blood. The ammo is gas cans.

6 from Duke Nukem 3D (pipe bombs)

7 from Blood is aerosol cans, which can be used in two ways:
 A) Tossed as "molotov cocktails".
 B) Used with the zippo lighter to spray flame, best used against the spiders.

Might be how they learned the term Molotov cocktail. In NBK.doc, Eric mentions using WD-40 bombs in the cafeteria. The diversion bombs used aerosol cans.  Eric said in his "25 things that make me different" (First is playing DOOM)  that he had a "patented way of killing spiders". Eric used a zippo lighter. There's also Heretic and Hexen for inspiring the molotovs, but it's also true it's what they used the napalm for rather than the launcher.

0 from Blood is a voodoo doll. A voodoo doll was taken in inventory from Eric's room, and Evan Todd when he's angry post massacre said the perps used voodoo dolls.

Eric had a "Hell dog" drawing which seems a dog with features/weapons combined from various video games like DOOM and Redneck Rampage. Hell Hounds are in Blood.

Dylan's Salem Cross symbol he was so fond of seems to be out of Duke Nukem 3D, in the "Death Row" level with the prison church, which has homages to DOOM and Rise of the Triad.

Blood has a similar homage to Duke Nukem 3D, showing how when one was tired of DOOM, he played Duke, and one was tired of Duke, he played Blood:
