Subject: The Port Arthur massacre, 27 years later Fri Apr 28, 2023 1:32 pm
Between Sunday, April 28th, and Monday, April 29th, 1996, 35 people were murdered at the Broad Arrow Cafe, adjacent gift shop and on roadsides at the Port Arthur Historic Site in Tasmania. Martin John Bryant surrendered after an intense 18 hour siege at the Seascape cottage, where he had killed David and Sally Martin, the owners, with a knife and his AR-15. The attack led to of course the famous $350 million buyback scheme as well as the ban of all semi automatic rifles, shotguns and pump action shotguns, even restrictions on airsoft guns.

Way worse to be Australian, Canada has legal weed plus they can just get guns from America (and can still own semi autos)
Also, Canada is physically beautiful.

Australia does have the (slightly) better accent, Mick Dundee, his more evil counterpart, Mick Taylor, vegemite and of course, an absolute hell of a lot of deadly creatures, both heard of and unheard of.
Edit: No scary big black guns, though

Port Arthur is waaaay more interesting than Columbine, I want to watch the full police interrogation video more than the Columbine 'basement tapes'.
