ALONE SHOOTERSDamian CiołekOn March 26, 2007 28yo Damian Ciołek shot and killed 3 unarmed police officers and wounded a convict who are in police car in Sieradz Prison area, Sieradz, Boat Voivodeship, PL. The shooter then barricaded himself on prison guard's tower (from where he fired shots at police car) and tried to shoot strangers on nearby streets, but failed. The attacker was shot and wounded by counter-terrorists who arrived at the scene and arrested.
He was known as an aggressive person for a long time before the shooting. His motive was related to his domestic dispute with ex-wife; after the quarrel, he become verbally aggressive towards her then he left the home, arrived to prison where he was working as a prison guard and commited the shooting.

The attacker was a 62yo former member of Civic Platform (PO), a rival political party to the PiS. As a result of the shooting, one worker of deputy office was killed and another was injured. The perpetrator also used a knife and taser during his spree. He was stopped by security guards then arrested by police officers who arrived at the scene. This crime is often used by current PiS' propaganda against the opposition as a result of alleged ''hate speech'' spreading by them against PiS.

He shot and killed 4 other soldiers and wounded approximately 8 others before being stopped by another soldier. His motive for committing a crime was a revenge for hazing by other soldiers for his lack of social abillities.

A detailed date of this crime remains unknown, but it happened in April. The shooter was a teacher who has been fired from school for extensively drinking. Then he returned to the school armed with a gun then opened fire at teachers and staff, killing 3 of them, including principal, and wounding a police officer. He tried to commit suicide by shooting himself, but survived his wounds and was arrested after recovering.

The gunman committed suicide by shooting himself after the attack. His motives' remains unknown, he was probably traumatized after war with Bolsheviks in 1920.

After planting a bomb, he left the bus on ''Dworcowa'' bus stop and went to his hometown near Wrocław. Before the bus started from ''Dworcowa'' bus stop, one of the passengers caught driver's attention for a suspicious package inside. The driver then carried a package outside the bus and called the police, but at the same time the package exploded, slightly injuring 1 person - an elderly woman who was stand on ''Dworcowa'' bus stop. Bus driver was later called a hero because if the package hadn't been taken outside by him, there would have been multiple casualties.
Bomber was arrested several days after the incident. His motive was a revenge for social rejection by students at University of Wrocław where he also studied. He was sentenced for 20 years in prison. I remember that incident shocked me specifically because I often travelled buses at this time when the incident happened and it caused panic around Wrocław.

Zdzisław Marchwicki (The Vampire of Zagłębie)He killed many young women in 60s and 70s in Zagłębie Region, Silesia. His motive was sexual sadism and he was suspected of killing or strangling women with BDSM accesories. Although any of his victims' weren't actually raped, but ''sexually tortured'' according to the investigators. He was a coal miner and was suspected of committing most of his crimes when he was on his way to home from work. He killed between 14 and 20 women.
Władysław MazurkiewiczHe killed at least 6 people in 1950s. Suspected to committing over 30 other crimes, but this has never been proven that actually he committed those crimes.

Polish and international media speculated that they may have killed even 1200 patients (if that's true, they would be the deadliest serial killers in world's history, but these reports are unconfirmed; they killed 14 persons officialy).
STABBERSŁukasz WachColumbine Copycat who killed his mother and gravely wounded his older brother at their home in Chełm, Lublin Voivodeship in 2020. After this, he get into building of a local culture house with intention to committing a mass stabbing there. He eventually gave up on his plan and fled the house, but was arrested by police a moments after his failed attack.
Konrad K.The perpetrator of 2017 Stalowa Wola Vivo Mall stabbing during which he killed 1 person and wounded 9 others with two knives. He was overpowered by bystanders then arrested by police. He committed the stabbing because he wents amok due to the loss of his job.
