| Besides the tragedy and the victims as a whole, what particular scenes or details make you emotional? What gets to you every time?
I'll start.
Tom Mauser's speech at the NRA protest on May 1, 1999. "I am here today, because my son Daniel would want me to be here today." The camera then zooms out to show the sign with Daniel's picture and the text My son Daniel died at Columbine.
It's very hard not to get emotional when you look into his watery eyes and you listen to his shaking voice.

| That always gets me, too. In that same clip where he says "Something is wrong in the country. When a child can grab a gun, so easily.. and shoot a bullet into the middle of a child's face, as my son experienced." and has to stop and compose himself mid-sentence. The short clips of the interview(s) with Isaiah's Dad always makes me emotional. The one from the morning of the 21st when he's in Isaiah's room and kinda laughed noticing his bed wasn't made. You can just see that it hadn't hit him yet. | |

| I think something about Isaiah in general just makes me so sad. Maybe that he had overcome medical difficulties and apparent racial harassment in the athletics program, and that he was physically so small adds to it. The treatment he received in the library was just extra cruel (although this is not to take away from the taunting that was launched at so many kids) with Dylan (or maybe Eric, I can't recall right now) attempting to drag him out from under the table. The topper is Isaiah's cries for his mom before being shot. I've read this in several places but have never seen an official account of any diologue except for the "nigger" comments. Does this appear anywhere in the 11k? I have read parts of it, albeit not very throughly, and may have missed it somewhere. The thought of that scene--along with the library scene as a whole--has put me in tears more than once, I have to admit. |

| Daniel's death and watching Tom afterwards makes me sad and angry because they had no reason to kill him, he had never done anything to them. Essentialy they became the bullies, but at a whole nother level. Nothing else really makes me emotional, just curious. _________________ I had it all and I looked at it and I said 'this is a bigger jail than I just got out of'.

| Nothing much. I'm not an emotional person and nothing about the event makes me cry.
Me crying is a rare event, occurring once a decade or less, at the veterinarian when I need to finally part with a pet and say goodbye. _________________ Life is like a tram - you need to know when to get off.

| Too many things make me tear up to write about. It would cover a small book . Besides me sadness for many thing regarding the victims, many things about E &D and their lives and deaths makes me cry also. _________________ We're all going to die, all of us, what a circus; That alone should make us love each other but it doesn't. | Any of the stuff about unexpressed feelings or regrets survivors had regarding the people who died, like the person who wanted to call Rachel the night before and didn't, or Cassie's old friends who converted and it's likely she never knew, or the girl who was in love with Dylan and was too scared to tell him until it was too late. Regret is one of the worst parts of grief.
The interview with Brooks Brown from the next day gets to me too. "I know I'll never be able to go back to Columbine. Two of my good friends...[voice cracks as if sobbing] shot and killed people there." I can't imagine being in his position or the position of anyone else who lost people on both sides of the gun.

| Brooks Brown's book makes me get emotional a couple times. Especially the part where he says how some new video games will remind him of Dylan and want to talk to him about it then realize he can't. One of my best friends died in a car crash in April, and different things will remind me of her. She didn't die as tragic as Dylan did, but that part reminds me of her death in a way. Reading or watching anything about the families of the victims gets to me too. I wonder how i'll be when reading Sue's book |

| The clips from Rachel Scott's funeral made me all teary eyed, just everyone having such trouble speaking. She was gorgeous, I'm surprised they never told any of the girls "kiss me and I won't kill you" considering how lonely they both were.
And hearing about how many cried out for their moms or said they only wanted to go home in the library, made me think probably how I'd feel.

| In "Zero Hour" when Aaron Hancey talks about trying to save Dave Sanders. I can't imagine what it's like to take care of someone who is bleeding profusely, while also being scared for your life.
Also when Brooks says that he'd know Eric and Dylan would be so excited to hear about the new DOOM game coming out, but he can't tell them about it...

| Thinking about Dave Sanders final words ("tell my girls I love them") always makes me choke up. And his widow, Linda, who was so often forgotten, because she lost a husband and not a child.
I also feel terrible empathy for Patti Nielsen who so desperately wanted to save those children and instead had to listen to their murders.

| I'm selfish, I suppose. I cry for the shitty cards life has dealt me, for my family who has no choice but to go on after my death and for the sudden tragic deaths of my close loved ones. Not all the time or anything, but that's what makes me cry. Violent, horrible deaths was my career, and I usually dealt fairly well with that, but there were times that it got to me. |

| Sue Klebold's book made me cry several times. She is such a wonderful, gentle soul and the last person in the world to deserve such suffering. My heart really breaks for her(and for other victims and their families as well of course). Also that teacher's 911 call from the library. You can really hear and feel the terror that went on in there. Lastly, all that potencial and futures lost. Not only the victims, but also the killers.. | |

I'm not sure this guy wasn't as meek and mild as made out. Wasn't he excluded from his previous school for arson? No way did he do anything to deserve what happened to him, I'm just not sure he was the innocent never done anything wrong character he's made out to be. You're right he seems to be 100% innocent as in I can't seem to find any evidence he wronged Eric and Dylan in any way. But there's nothing to suggest anyone else killed did either - meaning they were all as innocent as each other.
