| Well to be fair none of the officers that day did any better. And what was he supposed to do all alone, at leat he took initiative and fired at the shooters. I'm sure he feels no more guilty that any other policeman on scene that day. _________________ Falling out of airplanes and hiding out in holes Waiting for the sunset to come, people going home Jump out from behind them and shoot them in the head Now everybody dancing, the dance of the dead The dance of the dead, the dance of the dead

| Except he knew them, both the killers and the victims. I don't know it's just the officer in my high school was more of a friend with a gun. | |

| I'm sure all the cops involved feel a sense of guilt. I'm guessing Officer Gardner hates himself for not being a better shot that day. Just think how things would have turned out had he taken Eric down... | |

| Neil did not fail. But if he does feel any guilt I would think it is more likely he would feel guilty for missing when shooting at Eric rather than going out to eat _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need

| And just one more thing I guess....but even if Neil would have been there there is no telling if he would have been able to hit Dylan or Eric with a shot. He had no backup _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need

He has seen Dylan around the school, but he didn't know Eric. _________________ Falling out of airplanes and hiding out in holes Waiting for the sunset to come, people going home Jump out from behind them and shoot them in the head Now everybody dancing, the dance of the dead The dance of the dead, the dance of the dead

I think it's possible, but I think Dylan would have killed himself a lot sooner than he did. I don't think he would have entered the library alone and killed that many kids.

| Half the guys on the scene that day are probably retired or close to retirement. I doubt anybody feels any guilt. Neil was far away from Eric when he attempted to shoot him, other people could have gotten hit. I'm surprised he was brave enough to try to strike him in the first place. | |

Dylan might of had a shoot out with Gardner and his backup until he was shot and killed.
