Did you guys hear about the recent news of The Voice singer Christina Grimmie who got shot and killed?

Yes. I've been following it since it happened. I've watched every season of that show and she was a favorite for so many fans during Season 6 and I just can't believe that someone would want to murder her. She was only 22 years old.

It's so tragic. She seems like such a sweet heart. I can't wait for more details on who that crazed gunman is and why he did it.

They've just released information on the murderer. No info yet on motive though.

So sad about this, I can't stop thinking about it. She was so talented and just such a good person too.

Very sad, she seemed like a really nice person. At least there is going to be no lengthy court case, but then again no justice for her family and friends.

Really tragic that her fans who were there came to celebrate her and see their fav superstar only to watch her die amidst them.

I've been a fan of hers since 2011 and she was my inspiration for a long time. I just can't believe it... Never thought that something like this would happen to her.

Maybe this is a US thing , never heard of her.

She was American, yes. She was on Season 6 of the U.S version of the singing competition show 'The Voice'. She came in 3rd place. This was back in spring (May) of 2014. Before that, she was a very popular YouTuber who made videos of herself singing cover songs. She was only 22 and some crazy moron traveled halfway across the state of Florida just to murder her.

Of all the people this fruit loop could have murdered, I have no idea why he'd pick her. She was a very nice, genuine, down to Earth kind of person. She did charity for homeless animals. That's how he got the chance to kill her, because after she was finished a concert, she went out and was meeting fans, signing autographs and taking pictures with people.

She was this innocent young girl who was just getting her feet on the ground and making something out of herself and one crazy son of a bitch took all that away. It's extremely tragic and heartbreaking. And I'm sure he'll end with fans, just like all these other crazy murderers. Guaranteed someone will come along who claims they 'understand' him and try justifying why he did it. Well this girl did absolutely nothing to him. She didn't know him and had never interacted with him once. But somehow, someone will turn him into the victim.

I'm not sure where you heard that because he definitely went there just to kill her. He traveled 100 miles across the state and then walked in and got into the line to 'meet' her. He didn't pull his gun out until he was right in front of her and she is the only person he shot. And all the police reports say that he went there just to kill her.

If he just wanted to go on a shooting spree to 'kill as many people as he could', I seriously doubt he would travel all the way to the other side of the state to do it. And he would have walked in and just started shooting whoever he saw but he didn't. He specifically got in line and waited until he was right next to her to start shooting and all the bullets he shot (which was 3 or 4) all hit her.

Okay so false information from a site. They claimed she died at the night club. Sorry but that, I didn't fact check further.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was a guy secretly obsessed with her going in with the mentality of "if I can't have her nobody else can"

So apparently he killed her because she had a boyfriend. People who worked with him said he was obsessed with her, got a hair transplant, lost weight and started a vegan diet and was telling people that he'd end up marrying her.
