This thread will be dedicated to photos of all the school massacre perpetrators as children, not just Eric and Dylan, but all of them. I am leaving it in this section as a majority of the images will be of Eric and Dylan as children.
Does Anders Breivik belong here if he's not a school shooter? I can delete it if it's not a good fit (or we can move it to the Anders Breivik thread, maybe?) but I came across a page that had a lot of childhood photos of him.

Anders disliked his nose and was teased about it in his teenage years so he got plastic surgery as soon as he could afford it. And we've probably all heard about how that "weird looking Eric kid" sometimes made fun of other kids who resembled him.
I don't get why Eric looked weird. He looked normal and attractive. But he looked different on photos and in their home videos. I can understand why superficial people teased him, because to those people you are an easy target if you have other interests, are too thin or fat or if you're wearing the wrong clothes. Most people are just stupid. Maybe I'm not that superficial, they looked average and weird in a good way. Anders looked like a cute average norwegian guy. I think often it's their low self esteem that makes them feel ugly. And yes, again, superficial society won't help make it easier to accept yourself and be yourself. But that's just my opinion. ;)

That is really the thing isn't it. They all looked normal. But take someone like Elliot. On the outside is he is good looking and even somewhat attractive, it was his personality that threw others off. I think that Eric was skinny and dorky yes, but that it was probably his anger and other personality traits that caused him to be left out. I think at first Eric might have been the type to try too hard to fit in. Then when he didn't he got angry. Both of those things, the desperation and the anger and resentment are not qualities people generally like.

I agree with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that their personalities threw people off. Another thing that might have worked against E&D is they were very awkward. You can tell when you watch them in their videos. A lot of their mannerisms betray how self conscious they were, and if you didn't know them it could suggest that they had submissive personalities. Those things I guess could be a turn off for some people (particularly shallow teenage girls) and could've been part of what got them targeted by jocks and bullies. Especially in a sporty athlete-centered school.

I think they had such high expectations of the perfect girlfriend that only a fantasy girl would fulfill their expectations. There were girls that were interested in them,but they were not interested as they didn't meet their requirements for the perfect girl. It is kinda sad.

The boys were actually shallow if not more when it came to girls. They complained about having no one, what they mean is they couldn't get the girls they wanted; the popular girls, the hot girls, etc etc. They have a superiority complex and yet, they knew they wanted to be like the zombies just to feel accepted and to be part of hot things.

Dylan was different from Eric though in a way where I have a feeling there were couple of girls who were intrigued by him and probably wanted to talk to him but he sort of cut most girls out because there was that one girl he was into. I'm not sure if he had been writing about the same girl in his journal but, he seemed very dedicated to a chick if he was into her.

As far as having a type that's out of your league, wanting someone you can't have, and obsessing over one person to the point where no one else can come close to that person goes, a lot of teenagers are like that.
I feel like Dylan probably had more opportunities to date and had more girls intersted in him than Eric did though. Dylan had a certain style that could be appealing to some circles, and was easy going and probably more relatable. Its a shame he didn't give Robyn a chance though. That girl probably would have done anything and everything she could to make him happy.
I feel more sorry for Eric when it comes to dating, even though he set his standards a little too high. He actually went out and tried to get girls to spend time with him, but always came across as too weird or did something that ended up scaring them off. I feel like he probably wanted someone he could pour his heart and soul out to, and it probably came across as him being whiny and boring. People at that age aren't always equipt or interested in handling other peoples' problems so maybe that was part of the issue? Eric also seemed a little old fashioned to me, which isn't always a bad thing, but it might have been a turn off to some of the girls he was interested in.

I think this might be a screen shot from the show with the soccer video in it.
I had it on tape when I was 17 for research purposes only. It could very well be in my attic at home.
Is this the soccer clip you are talking about? (Skip to 5:10). I thought you meant a video of Eric Harris playing soccer when he was a kid.
I vaguely remember it being when he was older like when he lived in Littleton. I could be wrong though. The video was of him playing soccer and then he looks into the camera. It’s been so long since I’ve seen it.

Hopefully, you'll find the tape. I haven never seen a news coverage that shows a video that you just described.
