Ethan contacted me on Facebook about all of this and we've been talking back and forth for the past day or so and I invited him to come back to the forum because I really think his side of this should be heard.

It turns out that this person, EJ, has done a lot more than impersonate Sue Klebold.

@Jenn  If it's worse then impersonating Sue, and being involved with a charity that took money in her name,  then I believe this EJ person needs to be in jail. Or at least have her ass kicked.

I was interested in Columbine almost the moment I saw it on the news. I say “almost” because at first, I believed the news reports that Eric and Dylan were white supremacists and neo Nazis who worshipped Hitler, and I thought that was a stupid ideology and an even stupider reason to kill. So, I didn’t get curious about the details until a few days after. I met EJ not long after. It may have been as early as 2000, but I am not sure.

For sure, we met on AOL and were talking around 2001 or 2002. I’m fairly certain she contacted me first, while I was signed onto Eric’s old AOL screen name (rebdomine). Hundreds of people messaged me through that name.

***I’m going to note this here early on because I don’t want any of this to be taken out of context (but Lord knows there will always be people who do). The experiences I’m about to share happened more than fifteen years ago. I am a completely different person today than I was then. All of this, and more, is being published in my book as part of the experiences I’ve had relating to what got me into researching Columbine and how that led me down the path to Awakening.

What I’m sharing here isn’t excerpted from my book. I am retelling the story briefly as it relates to what just happened on the FB groups. The larger context of what I have to share is built on a foundation of a major transformation I experienced that is multi-dimensional. Since this subject is highly controversial and people Google me, I feel the need to point all that out before going into the details I’m about to share.

When I met EJ, at first, we clicked. This was before I had any genuine connections to people from Columbine, or any of E&D’s friends. To us, at that time, Columbine was just another news story we both happened to be interested in. We understood the desire to destroy our schools and that’s what we bonded over. Then, we basically trolled the internet together for a year or so. I won’t publicly state what we did, the details will be in my book, but it wasn’t cool. We messed with Brooks online for a while and then she took it too far when she threatened to finish the job Eric left behind. Meaning, he let Brooks live, and she was threatening to kill him. That’s when I got my first clue that she wasn’t someone I wanted to be associated with.

I think during the two years we connected online, 2002-2004 or so (could have been 2001-2004) we sent each other a couple of letters and I believe I sent her a box of clothes I no longer wanted. I don’t remember doing that, but I looked at her Facebook photos from that era and saw her wearing 4 distinct shirts that I had given away. That was as far as our contact went. She lived in NY, I lived in CA, and I went to Littleton in 2004 for the 5th anniversary memorial, and I don’t think she went until later in the year. We never crossed paths in person, ever, never made any plans to, either.

I cut her off in 2004 or 2003, I can’t remember which. At that time, she began making up crazy rumors about me and I just ignored them.

We didn’t connect for about 15 years. I recently joined a FB discussion group, realized she was going by EJ now, and reached out figuring she was not the same person. Gave it a shot. I was completely wrong.

Prior to the time I cut her off in 03/04, I had been collecting a lot of CHS memorabilia, rare stuff, stuff that just came easily to me. One friend would offload their entire HS set of yearbooks on me, clothes, and other items, and then their siblings sold me the other years, and before I knew it I had the first yearbook ever from the school, and almost every year through 2005 including books signed by Dave Sanders and a few other people of interest. And lots of other stuff.

I obtained rare items, too, and should have kept it to myself. Each time I collected something new, she’d make up a story to one-up me. Except, I wasn’t playing the one-up game. She even tried to tell me that she had Eric’s screen name “Rebldomakr” despite it still being suspended. For every item I had, she had a matching story that she had the same item or experience.

After I got an extremely rare item, she told me she had the same type of item but from a different source. I think she thought I was joking, or making it up, but I wasn’t.

Then she made a big deal out of confessing to me that she knew Eric in person, they met at the Denver airport during a layover in 1998 or so, and kept in touch. That would put her at about 14 or 15 I think. Hard to believe. And then she started calling herself Eric, and said that was her chosen name and it was just a coincidence that it was the same name as Eric Harris, but she didn’t choose it because of him. She chose it a long time ago. So now she was going by the name Eric. And on the side, she had her friends online calling her “Reb.”

Fast forward to sometime in 2004, she’s in Littleton with a friend and she started sending me photos of The Klebold’s home. Said she was driving up and down the street taking photos hoping to catch a glimpse of Sue. Then said she thought she saw her at the grocery store once, and was waiting for her to come back. Tried to get a photo but couldn’t in time. Then she told me she was going to move to Littleton and get a job at the Columbine library (at the school).

She wore the same KMFDM tour t-shirt Eric had – and a KMFDM hat – to Columbine HS and took photos. Cut her hair short and spikey like Eric’s. Wore combat boots and black BDUs. Said she would have gotten a job at Blackjack Pizza if it were still around.

So, stalking Sue and then wanting to get a job at the library and seeing all the imitation photos was the tipping point. I called the police. I didn’t call the FBI, I called my personal contact at the Jefferson County PD, who was at the scene on the Cafeteria Team and doesn’t take threats lightly. I gave him all the screen shots and conversations I had with her and he and another officer went to pay her a visit. I never knew what came of that until recently. She thinks she was innocently harassed. The evidence says otherwise.

Then… aside from her antics online that I was NOT part of, people started to mistake her for me. First, it happened online. She’d do something and people would think it was me. Now, I am not saying I am innocent. I stirred up the pot on CRTF with Randy quite a bit, but I did not post using Eric’s names – she did. Yet, I was accused of being the one posting as Rebldomakr, and other aliases that were actually hers. She had at least 4 personas at any given time and would post and have conversations with herself under all of these names. Without even using a proxy, so it was obvious. Then she’d get on her “Azula Rose” persona and act like the peace maker, the savior, the diplomat, and make herself look as good as possible. That was her game. To post shit on multiple personas stating how she really feels – what she really thinks – and then shed come back on Azula Rose, which is the name everyone knew was associated with the real Lyndsey, and she (thought) she was being seen as the person saving the day with reason.

I don’t know what year it was, but whenever there was a court hearing maybe it was for the depositions, she went to it, she was living in Littleton by then, and met Randy Brown face to face in an elevator. And Randy asked her if she was me. That was crazy.

So… fast forward to the drama on the FB group, I requested to join before I even knew she was part of it. I didn’t know she was going by the name EJ. Then she sent me a message that sounded like she was normal now. That she had stopped the insanity. And then I saw Jenn’s posts about what she discovered about EJ, and I just thought, “yep that sounds exactly like fifteen years ago, I guess she hasn’t changed…” and I just decided to ignore it figuring EJ would just be kicked out of the group, but then everyone got booted. So, I joined EJs other group because there was no other group. And the reason I am even interested in joining the groups and discussions isn’t because I want to rehash the events or fuss over the details. The work I do involves connecting with people and I am interested in having a conversation that leads to education, knowledge, and helping people transform their lives.

That’s what I did for ten years when I had Eric’s old AOL name. I wasn’t on there messing around, I was saving lives, literally, I have the notes from various teenagers who later thanked me for connecting with them when no one else would. So, that’s what motivates me to be involved in discussions. I learned early on that to be part of this type of discussion involves seeing a lot of fandom and weird shit and it just comes with the territory… everyone is on their own evolutionary journey and wherever they are is where they are. They have to find their way out, just like everyone else, and I just ignore it.

I’m a self-employed professional web marketer, I don’t have any interest in having the kinds of conversations EJ and her friends have. I have serious work to do, and this junior high drama nonsense is not part of that work.

I think there needs to be an APB out about her to the victims and their families because she is still deceiving people. It worries me that she says Joe Stair’s mother lived with her at one point, and I watched her lie her way into the lives of other victims deceptively. She isn’t the only one. I can tell stories for days about this stuff since I was in the online communities from basically day one. I’ve seen more than I care to think about.  

So, that’s the condensed version. And my memory with dates and details of timelines might be off, but I was there in the beginning when she began all of this, and I don’t know if she’s actually a threat or not. She seems to exaggerate everything, she says she was in a mental institution for trying to kill herself and her ex. That may not even be true. What is true, the only thing that I know, is that she needs help she’s not getting because nobody in her family knows she’s doing any of this.

PS: I did sell the domain name years ago. The relaunch is a different domain, and a different type of research site.

EJ was not the bath towel person. That was a girl named (REDACTED), and her partner, they were film makers, the ones who drove the out of state Honda with the license plate (REDACTED) and ran around littleton in thigh length black trench coats.

That is a very mixed up, clusterfuck-ish type story.  Sounds like this EJ person is way overdue for a extended stay in a mental treatment center. Weaseling your way into the survivors/survivors families lives is beyond low. Stalking and impersonating Sue Klebold is just about as low as you can sink in my opinion.

Also I do agree with you. Researching Columbine will bring you into contact with some truly screwed up people. Fangirls/fanguys who actually seem to worship Eric and Dylan, mixed in with others who are just trying to be edgy. The things I have seen on Tumblr are equal amounts of sad and disturbing.

When I worked for a theatre many years ago we had to worry about this with a few actors who were high profile. It came with the territory so they shook it off and we never had anyone we worried about too much.

However, these people did NOT ask to put in the spotlight, whatever information they have given the world is what they are giving. It is so beyond inappropriate

In December I ran into someone associated with the case when I was visiting for a job interview and that was awkward to me, I knew who they were but I had no right or reason to bring it up. I was just nice like I would be to anyone else Did I want to ask 5 million questions and give them a hug because of all they went through, oh yes. However it sounds like this person lost her empathy chip or needs to focus her energy elsewhere.

Today marks the one year anniversary of Randy's rampage at the Weis supermarket where he killed 3 of his coworkers and then himself.

@Lizpuff It is, very sick. For over 15 years, and she lies about having known Eric, lies about knowing people - using minimal contact with a few people she sought out to harass to claim she knows them (she did not know Joe Stair, it's sick that she calls him "Joey") she spent countless hours harassing and stalking Nate Dykeman and Brooks, too. And others, there were others.

I am starting to wonder if she's been impersonating me, too. So many unexplained instances of people thinking I am her, in person and online. She's openly suicidal, it's all over her Facebook. She needs help, her family doesn't think she needs help. They don't even have a clue. Meanwhile, she's posting photos of herself wearing the same KMFDM tour t-shirt Eric wore in some of the videos - she's sitting at the cafeteria table inside Columbine with her hair short and spikey like Eric's - I know it was a photo she took when she first moved there long ago, but how can people NOT see these things??

Supposedly she lived with Joe Stair's mom, and that makes me concerned, because how can these people not see the obsession? I guess it's because most people don't know signs of obsession when they see them. You can wear a Natural Selection shirt in Littleton and nobody would bat an eye unless they really researched the incident. Maybe not 19 years ago, but today, I bet most people wouldn't blink.

If she decides to take her own life, I don't think she'd take out a lot of people but she is capable, anyone is. I'm glad she doesn't live in Colorado anymore. I've always thought she was a threat to some degree because the level of obsession was just beyond interest. She's been wanting to move back, though. But I don't think she could do it on her own. If she got into another relationship with someone equally interested in Columbine, she'd move to Littleton with that person, I would bet money on it.

I'm posting this publicly because I know she's reading this, and I want her to know that I have not taken my eye off her, and the day she moves back to Littleton I will know about it, and I will contact the police again...

There are events held at Columbine every so often. Art shows, concerts etc all have been there. So she could have gone there during one of those and no one would have questioned why she was there.
But then again there have been people that have gone into Columbine on a regular school day pretending to be students and film themselves/take pics there so that wouldn't surprise me if she did that too especially given her level of crazy

I went to the memorial library and that was very eerie to me, I can’t imagine going inside the school...

One of the things that is so stupid to the point of being mind-blowing is how Alvaro Castillo and Randy Stair both idolized Eric and Dylan to the extent that they used similar weapons. Eric and Dylan used sawed-off, old, rusted pieces of garbage as their weapons, not to mention their junky Hi-Point carbine and Tec-9.

As an aside to this I'd like to add that Alvaro's rifle jammed after he got off only a few shots.

I hardly know anything about the guy, but that date seems super random. Anyone with more knowledge know the significance?

I fear the significance might be lost along with Randy's life. Certainly many historical events happened on May 7th, but I can see no reason as to why Randy would be interested in any of them.

Given that the shooting happened during the night between 7 and 8 June, could it be that on a 7 he decided that he would kill himself and then he simply changed the date by changing the month, thinking: "I'll do that in XX months", then postponing it again for XX months, and then bringing the shooting forward?

He just assigned one number to each letter of “egs”, according to where are in the alphabet (A: 1, B: 2, E: 5, and so on…). And believed that it meant that “Ember” or some entity from the other side was telling him that it was the day when he would die.
He didn’t saw the egs as something HE created, but as some information that was being given to him through is mind, by “some higher power from another dimension”. He was “just a messenger”, send to this world from that other dimension, with the mission of “spread the word about how the other side really is”.
He was reaaally gone by the last years of his life… he literally had his mind on another world.

Yes, the number 7 was important to him, for some reason… all the possible dates of his suicide were on a 7, if I’m not mistaken (I think he just said that he liked the number…)

I know Randy Stair's aunt and just after he went ballistic and shot up his work place me and his aunt thought getting Randy's mum in touch with sue would be a good idea. I assumed the FB page was Sue's and gave t to Randy's Aunt, who passed it to her sister, who then contacted 'Sue'.
I feel absolutely sick that this poor grieving mother sent a message to these people pretending to be her.
I later looked up Sue's actual address and passed it on. But I have no idea if Randy's mum eventually got in contact. I hope she did.

So I read through this.  I have been a looonnnngggg time lurker of this site long before posting, even before Jenn took it over.  I am curious, I get a member on here happened to copy some of E & D and killed a few people (EGS Andrew or something aka Randy Stair) but did another person by the moniker of FIBAgent also do something similar?  I gathered a couple pages back that might be the case (QuestionMark? made a comment that made me ask this).


the EGS in Randy Stairs name might have something to do with the Strandberg guitars.  I admit, never heard of this Randy Stair so I have no idea if he was into guitars.
