| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]This article was just posted, and I'm glad too. I haven't bee able to find any real info has come out on Osborne since the shooting. The idea that he could be tried as a juvenile is somewhat concerning, although I support the idea that rehabilitation is possible for even the worst of criminals. _________________ "If opportunities for role fulfilment fall far short of the demand by those capable of filling roles, and having expectations to do so, only violence and disruption of social organization can follow. | Osborne seems interesting. At first he just seems like an Adam Lanza copycat but even copycats can be interesting. | |

the only thing he had similar to lanza was the bowl cut and that he killed a parent. Jesse would get suspended from and kicked out for bringing a machete..Lanza behaved and did well |

They both killed a parent, took their gun(s) and car, broke into an elementary school and shot it up. | |

I tend to not count these kinds of attacks as copycats unless the shooters themselves allude to other shootings. To my knowledge this is not the case with Osborne. _________________ "My guns are the only things that haven't stabbed me in the back." -Kip Kinkel

| I know of only two other attacks where teenagers attacked elementary schools; Brenda Spencer and Steven Guy. Spencer shot up her old elementary school's schoolyard; Guy was angry over being transferred to a "social adjustment center" so he shot staff members at his old elementary school. James Wilson, 19, also attacked an elementary school but he was technically an adult. _________________ "If opportunities for role fulfilment fall far short of the demand by those capable of filling roles, and having expectations to do so, only violence and disruption of social organization can follow. 1890 Brazil,Indiana....While the pupils of the Meridian Street School were at play, Ben Corbery drew a revolver and seriously wounded 10-year-old Cora Brubach, in the face. The girl had told the teacher of Ben's misconduct. although i do not know how old this Ben kid is |
