I'm just curious, I've read in the autopsy report that he was shot in the hip. Perhaps that's when he realised what was coming for him and crashed his car, taking the final shot.

Yes, according to your definition Rodger "pussied out". Page 2 of the investigative report states that he was shot in the left hip, near the intersection of El Embarcadero and Sabado Tarde.

Well if you mean committing suicide after being shot, I guess Kimveer Gill and Jeff Weise also "pussied out".
George Hennard was also shot several times.

Elliot Rodger is such a loser. It’s honestly hilarious. Sorry; was. I can’t watch his YouTube manifesto without laughing as much as I laugh at Nikolas Cruz’s search history.
