Tumblr, 4chan, Reddit, etc. Empty
PostSubject: Tumblr, 4chan, Reddit, etc.   Tumblr, 4chan, Reddit, etc. Icon_minitimeSun Oct 29, 2017 7:07 pm

Per our forum owner @Jenn's request, at this time, I am now fully responsible for determining what can and cannot be posted publicly on this forum with regard to content from tumblr, 4chan, and reddit.

The rules concerning personal profiles and all general media still apply, nothing has changed.

The only way one can share tumblr content on this forum is by copy/pasting text (EXCLUDING usernames), acquiring image links, or taking screenshots and removing/obscuring ALL USERNAMES.

*Recently, Adam Lanza's former tumblr usernames were allowed to remain visible via screenshots ONLY. If another similar situation arises down the road where it has been discovered that someone infamous had a social media account, the same exact rules will apply: SCREENSHOTS of their posts will be allowed, and the only username that can remain visible will be THEIRS, no one else's.

4chan and reddit are "new territory" on this forum, so to speak, so if anyone would like to share something from either of those sites, or anything similar, we're going to have to deal with them on a case by case basis.

What can be advised as a whole is the following:

If a thread from 4chan or reddit has ANY SORT OF PERSONAL OR SENSITIVE CONTENT, do not waste your time posting it here. It will be removed.

That means if a thread from any of these sites contains any linked personal profiles, personal photos, personal information (even in text), gore, pornography, instructional posts for illegal activities of any kind, or even screenshots that contain any of the aforementioned (or similar), DO NOT post it here.

If you come across a thread from these sites that does contain the above mentioned, but still want to share posts from it that do not go against this forum's rules, once again, you will need to create a screenshot of the posts in question. The link will not be allowed.

Another thing that must be emphasized is that threads and posts from any of these sites that use Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris' suicide photo CANNOT be shared here in any way, shape, or form.

Do not post a screenshot of any post that uses that photo, do not post links that lead to anything that uses that photo.

Under no circumstances whatsoever will that photo ever be allowed on this forum.

If you have any questions concerning this, please do not hesitate to ask at any time.

Thank you.

Okay, thank you for the information.
