| Does anyone know of any legal ways to visit Columbine? I'm finally in a place where I can afford the costs and have the time. I recall someone on here mentioning how the school occasionally hosts events which are open to the public. Are there any other options? | |

| Do they ever have memorial services? If they have a public event or something similar it might be possible. Although I'm not sure it would be in the school. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is right, school plays or maybe a sporting event would be another way, but I wonder if they are more strict about who they let in. | |

| I use to talk to one of the coach's there, she told me that it is open to the public in the beginning of the year, they do tours for the public who are thinking about letting their kid's join. | |

| I’m there for the anniversary this time and awaiting news on any memorial service. I’m guessing it will be in the park and at the memorial itself rather than in the school. It’s a Friday in 2018 and I am lead to believe the school won’t be closed like in previous years. | |

Thanks for that info. I'm over 1700 miles from Littleton, but one day I really want to visit.

Hahah! My bro just sprung his wedding on all of us. I knew future SIL was from Littleton. But now I get a fun summer trip to CO which I have never been to and get to visit a place I am fascinated by all at the same time! _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need

| Colorado is one of the few states in America where majority of people will agree it’s definitely worth a visit but you Definitely need money to live out there and play. Even back then when everything went down, the houses of Eric and Dylan aren’t cheap. | |

Must be strange when you finally see the real thing. It is and I don't have anyone to talk to about it but you guys. So yay. People I spoke to about the symposium today were actually very kind towards Sue and what she is doing. King Soopers strikes me as a Trader Joes type place. Everyone is also VERY friendly and it snowed tonight which made me happy. I'm off to bed soon, I've been up since 2am. I don't know how I am functioning. I am also going to go to Red Rock Canyon, I think you can hike there during the day. It reminds me of a cross between some of the cities in the outskirts of Los Angeles and where I grew up but with views of the Rocky Mountains.

Getting a sandwich and headed to Clement Park. Then going into Denver for dinner and drinks.
Sprouts is located next to what could be the infamous Outback lol _________________ "And you know, you know, you know, this can be beautiful, you say you're numb inside, but I can't agree. So the world's unfair, keep it locked out there. In here it's beautiful."

| There was a user here from New Zealand who went as far as pretending to be a student to go inside the school and take video and pictures (he even faked an American accent when a teacher asked him what he was doing). Jeffco police contacted NZ police when they noticed what he had done and he nearly got into big trouble for it. So be careful whatever you do down there. I would love to visit sometime but I'm poor and I live in Australia so it is hard for me to do so unless I find myself in the USA at some point in the future. | |

| I would be careful...I've been in twice. I bought tickets to a play. This last time in April I was followed out of the school all the way off the property but the cop didn't speak to me. The school has signs up that are new that say they have the right to remove anyone and not to record etc. They were there this year but not in 2016. | |

| That's odd, since plays are open to the public. If you can buy a ticket there shouldn't be an issue. Was the play good?
I was across the street from the school grabbing my lyft so no one noticed me. Again, I wouldn't go skulking around a HS. _________________ "And you know, you know, you know, this can be beautiful, you say you're numb inside, but I can't agree. | I wouldn't see the need for going there now, since the inside has been apparently remodeled, so the inside probably doesn't even look anymore the way it did when Eric and Dylan were there. No, I'd love to visit and even spend a night in Dylan and Eric's parents' houses, to feel the emotions and the thoughts that both teens felt and had while living in those homes. I even think in doing that, you would have a great chance of having a paranormal visit/encounter from both teens, as I believe residue of their spirits still remains in that house.

| I know all school plays at my high school were awful too (I was a student rep in year 11 and 12 so I had to go to every one those years). I think schools mainly use them so students get used to acting in front of big crowds, to temper their nerves... real acting skills are learned post graduation. | |

What he did wasn't too bright. Actually I think it was pretty bright given that it gave me complete closure on an obsession which had been plaguing me for years. I think I went about it smart (brought a girl so it looked less suspicious, brought a hat of the local ice hockey team, thought quickly and stayed calm when confronted with a teacher, figured out how to slip into the school unnoticed). What wasn't bright was sharing my footage with you donkeys

And I'm not here to fit your constraints of normality. I wanted to be inside the school, I wanted to get a feel for the culture of the school, I wanted to see what it looked like, blah blah. I went in, walked from the east entrance down to the cafeteria and out the doors; I harmed no one. Stop being so straight and narrow minded.
