Another forum member who committed a murder/suicide.

On December 7, 2017 another forum member went on a school shooting. A member who went by the usernames @FIBAgent and @ChoSeungHui committed the Aztec High School shooting where he killed 2 students and then himself.

I really don't know what to say about this that I didn't say the last time when Randy Stair went on a shooting. I'm sorry that someone who was a member here went and did this. Again, I had no idea that this person was even a danger to anyone as I've never had any real problems with him because he did not act or talk about being violent here on my forum. There are forum members here who claim to have known him and none of them ever reported him to me either.

I'm sorry to the families of the two people he murdered.

Because those kinds of people are psychopathic. That is how nobody knows. You really cannot prevent stuff like this from happening unless you have a good bit of foresight like with Cleaning Columbine's alleged threat.

That guy used to mention a lot about the FBI lurking about on here didn’t he? Said there were probably 3 or 4 future shooters who post or read this forum.

It really does make me think long and hard about contributing to forums like this when something like this happens. I know it’s not anyone here’s fault but I always feel a little bit guilty that somehow being part of a forum of this nature somehow encourages these type of people because we discuss them.

I don't think him posting stupid videos like that means he's gonna do anything. He's just trying to get attention, like always. Unfortunately, I knew him personally and it's clear to me he uses Columbine to talk to girls. That's why you hate him so much because of what he did back when you and I first got together.

I know that now I am back on the forum on a full-time basis I will try my utmost best to thwart another threat and that includes analyzing things certain posters say here or even working with the police.

I have a fascination with murder mysteries and crime in general, as do a lot of people on this forum - and there is nothing against the law or wrong with researching those things. That is what detectives/police do themselves.

It's only when you start becoming a deranged person/fan that idolizes them the problems start.

Well it is not just that. It's the lies, stealing content, bragging about talking to Adam Lanza when I had about as much interaction, etc.

Have there ever been any attempts to shut this forum down by law enforcement or any other entities? I understand they don't have any legal grounds, but it still probably wouldn't stop them or someone else from trying. I wasn't here when Sandy Hook happened, but I imagine there were some attempts then. Sometimes I get scared for this websites future.

Of course its pretty easy to create a new website, but to lose all the posts and discussions that have been made here throughout the years would be depressing.

No. And there won't be either - because if this place has any police inquiries they can be forwarded to me and I will try my utmost best to assist them with their investigation(s) in any amicable way possible.

I am sure there are boards out there that discuss serial killers, murders, etc that are not shut down.

Not to be a curmudgeon, but I'd be really surprised if he was the last. I had a few interactions with him on YouTube and he seemed like a good humoured guy. It's always a shame to see another person go on a rampage, rather than seek the help they evidently need.

Not really sure what this has to do with this forum? He did not make any posts or comments like that here. And neither did Randy, because they both knew they wouldn't get away with it here.

Well he was throwing up red flags left and right - on Encyclopedia Dramatica he made dozens of articles pertaining to mass murder and school shootings, and made edgy posts on their forums where he seemed to idolize them. It got to the point where his fellow members were mocking him over it.

His YouTube account. He has since taken off his videos, they were mostly Doom videos of a mod he had made that was based on Columbine.
He had another account under the name Blake Stone, which is an old 1992 video game but later changed it to Vance.

I saw that too! It's creepy he was like trying to convince everyone he was against massacres

Maybe he was doing it so no one would be suspicious of him.

Maybe, but besides those posts he made about how horrible mass shootings were, he didn't seem to post anything that seemed suspicious.

He also made fun of Randy Stair a lot, which is ironic because he did the same thing Randy did and ended up killing even less people.

Yep. I'm still trying to understand whether he was trying to appear normal or whether he was trying to be normal and convince himself not to do something like that. I noticed one thing similar to Randy, the fact they both operated dozens and dozens of different websites under many different names, almost like they are lost and have a personality problem.

But none of his forum posts were cause for alarm. He made no indication that he was going to kill people.

On this particular site he didn't seem to say anything shocking, but then again he stopped using this site for a few months and was talking to people on other sites a few days before the act and told them he'd be dead soon and stuff.

He never would have gotten away with saying that kind of stuff here because I would have reported him and his IP address to the police in his area. I've done that twice before (once for a different reason though). When I first opened the forum some people from the old forum harassed me nonstop on here for nearly a year trying to get me to close the forum down. I finally had enough and reported them to the police where they were from. And then the 2nd time there was a guy on here talking about wanting to kill all women. I reported him and his IP address too.

So that's why I think they don't post stuff like that here because we stay on top of that and will report it. Which is why I never see it coming. And I cannot track what these people do all over the Internet. I can only go by how they act here. And I knew this guy was a moderator or whatever over on ED and he wrote up an article about Randy where he was calling me "a crazy fuck" or something like that for having this forum and I asked him to remove the insults towards me. He apologized and removed it, and that is about the extent of any problems I had with him.

I think the main issues with people not getting caught BEFORE they actually do things like this is because people have no clue what to watch out for anymore. You have teens who post crap like this daily because they think it's funny, edgy, etc.

So people become somewhat accustomed to seeing this type of stuff. They likely think "Oh they are just looking for attention, they don't actually mean it"

Things that used to be bright red flag indicators are almost considered normal behavior now days. It makes it very confusing trying to weed out the angsty teen from the person who is an actual threat to themselves and others.

Yes, @silentprocess was keeping a watch on this guy's other account for a little while. I don't know if he still is or not.

And no, Elliot never posted here. The forum was only 2 months old when he went on his shooting and the community was still relatively small at the time. Forum members did make threads and had discussions the day it was happening.

It was a fan of Elliot's who posted here saying he wanted to kill and stab all women. And yes, it's the guy that @QuestionMark shared the link to.
