He posted a photo of himself with a mouse corpse and wrote (in Spanish): "sorry for my messy hair but I found this mouse and it was dead so you know what happened next…". This suggested that he had raped its corpse. I hope he was only joking, but it's still fucking disgusting anyway.

I think it's just that you live in America. It's a pretty famous case in the UK and a lot of people still remember it. It doesn't make the news as much anymore (for obvious reasons), but memorials are still done for Lee Rigby. After his death a charity was set up in his name as well, and a football club in Manchester did a memorial match for him last year. Nope. You're thinking of Tobbz764/Nino Luciano H. Slain764 did like eight attacks, including a few stabbings, during a manhunt campaign in Hässelby.
