*Jeremy was born February 10, 1975 in Calloway County, Kentucky to Joseph and Wanda Delle.
*He had a sister whom was 4 years older than him, her name is withheld.
*In 1979 Wanda and Joseph divorce. Joseph remarries 4 months later, while it takes Wanda 4 years.
*In a 10 year time frame Jeremy and his family moved ovee 5 times. They were never anywhere long enough to call home.
*Jeremy failed the seventh grade, but was promoted shortly after.
*In March of 1990 Jeremy met a girl by the name of Nancy at a church retreat. By April Nancy breaks up with Jeremy and he tries to commit suicide by overdosing on pills. He is admitted in to Timberlawn psychiatric hospital in Dallas.
*In July he meets a girl named Michelle at Timberlawn. On a weekend pass Jeremy drove to Michelle’s house and threatened to kill himself due to problems at home and at school.
*In October Jeremy is released and Michelle is remitted to Timberlawn, they break up.
*Between November and December two students report Jeremy to the school counselor for having suicidal thoughts and intentions.
*In December Jeremy allegedly steals $47 from the school’s basketball team cash box. His father has him arrested in hopes the police can help get Jeremy psychological help. (Word is that Jeremy’s much needed stay at Timberlawn was rushed by the insurance company and their unwillingness to pay for treatment)
*During his arrest on December 12, 1990, Police note that Jeremy is 5-foot-8, 140 pounds, has a conservative appearance, short straight brown hair, a cross tattoo on his left arm, two gold earnings in his left ear and is wearing a jogging suit and tennis shoes.
*On return to school December 14th, Jeremy is confined to in-school suspension. He has no or little interaction with anybody at school from this point until his suicide.
*On January 6, 1991 Michelle calls Jeremy, who seemed depressed and on acid, and tells him that she might be pregnant. During the conversation, Jeremy tells Michelle he would die for her.
Michelle calls Wanda to say that Jeremy sounded strange on the phone, but she felt Wanda did not show concern.
*On January 7, 1991: 3:30 p.m. Jeremy catches a bus for his counseling appointment.
6 p.m. The counseling session ends and Jeremy walks to Joseph’s girlfriend’s house nearby. In the evening, Jeremy calls a friend and talkes about “being tired of the bullshit that he had been putting up with at home,” that he was in big trouble and that he was really mad at Joseph.
7:20 p.m. Joseph picks up Jeremy from the girlfriend’s house.
8:30 p.m. Jeremy calls Wanda
10 p.m. Jeremy goes to bed
*On January 8, 1991: Jeremy called Nancy at about 7:30 a.m. Jeremy told her that he and his dad would be moving to Tokyo that day.
Their flight was at 3 o’clock, and “he wanted to know,” she said, “that if he came back, that I was going to be there.”
She assured him she would be. He then told her that he had gotten a ring that he would be “putting in a letter for me.” He also “wanted to make sure that I would be OK if he was gone,” she said. She again assured him she would be.
The conversation left Nancy thinking it was strange that Jeremy and his father would make such a move so abruptly. But on the phone, Jeremy had sounded “so at peace, so much more than I had ever seen him.” He must be relieved that he was getting new start, she concluded.
8:30 a.m. Jeremy approached an acquaintance who was suprised to see him because he had been in ISS for the last month. When she asked him where he had been he told her “he had been absent because he was visiting his girlfriend, Michelle, in Houston. He also said that Michelle was pregnant with his child and that he would be moving there soon to be with her.”
He then asked her to mail out the envelope containing the ring because he wouldn’t be around after school and it was super important.
She later said “I had every intention of reading that letter,” she said. “I reached in my bag to get it … and the bell rang.” Faced with a choice of reading the letter or being late to class, she thought to herself, “Well, I’m going to have it all day. I’m not mailing it until the end of the day.” So she put the letter back in her purse and went to her second-period class.
9:40 a.m. Jeremy came to class late. He said he lost his slip to admit him back to class after in-school suspension and he would get another one from the office.
He got a hall pass from the teacher, Mrs. Barnett, then walked to the back of the room, took off his coat and put it on his desk. He left the room, went to his locker and removed his gun.
While walking back to the room, a classmate called his name but he didn’t turn around. He entered the room, put his hall pass on Barnett’s desk and said “Miss, I got what I really went for.”
He then pulled out his .357 Smith & Wesson model 19-4, in front of a full classroom of 30 students, placed it in his mouth and pulled the trigger.
His suicide occurred in room B201.
1:30 p.m. Medical examiner performs an autopsy on 5-foot-8, 128-pound Jeremy. He had green eyes, straight brown hair and three tattoos: a cross on his upper left chest, a “13” on the back of his left hand, and an unspecified one on his left arm.
He was wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray T-shirt, jeans, leather belt, white thermal underwear, two pairs of white socks and brown leather work boots.
He had a gold left earring, gold necklace, silver watch on his left wrist, black comb in pocket and brown holster in waistband. There were powder burns on his left hand.
*Later toxicological tests were negative.
*After Jeremy’s suicide during investigation police question Michelle, who tells detectives that she is pregnant, but not by Jeremy.*Jeremy was interested in flying planes and playing drums (and pretty well so I have heard.) He could play the song “Wipeout” without any mistakes.
*He was said to have liked the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but he was more in to punk.
*Police described Jeremy as very artistic with neat penmanship. They noted how he was very clear at expressing his love for Michelle through his letters and how he talked constantly about wanting a family of his own.
*He was said to have an amazing smile and to have been really funny. *Jeremy gave notes to multiple people the day of his death, he also mailed letters and audio tapes to friends. Only one suicide note has ever been shared:
“Sorry, Nancy, by the time you get this letter I will have blown my head off, aka suicide, better known as (last way out). News flash – not your fault. It’s Michelle’s along with about 137.5 other problems. I was just writing to see if you wanted to go to the funeral. Call my house and ask for my Dad, 690-5338. At least you didn’t have to hear the boom. Love, Jeremy Wade Delle”
^don't want you guys to scroll too much, tumblr links aren't allowed. RIP Jeremy W. Dale seems like the school put him under iss even though he had tried to kill himself. genius idea, make the suicidal kid's life worse. what a shitty school. |

| Rest in Peace Jeremy. I hope you like your song. _________________ "If opportunities for role fulfilment fall far short of the demand by those capable of filling roles, and having expectations to do so, only violence and disruption of social organization can follow.
