Today, September 1st would have been John Tomlin's 31st birthday. Happy birthday John! And I found this on tumblr about John in his last moments. Very heartbreaking but completely selfless of him! Sad

If you didn’t know, he comforted one of the survivors in his last moments.
He grabbed her hand and held on to it. & the interlock they shared ended after Eric shot between them. It was then he was exposed by force and shot in the head by Dylan. He died after quick convulsions.

Whilst others ran past & left injured students to get out & even trampled those who fell as they ran. One even contemplated for a split second to be a second arm to a girl who was shot as she pleaded to be assisted; This was after Dylan & Eric had migrated. But ran passed without her.

John put his life on the line to help a stranger in need.
& ended up dying after his selfless objective.

He deserves recognition today.
John Tomlin.
9/1/82 - 4/20/99
He would have been 31; But his short life ended at 16.
Rest in Peace John.

Happy Birthday John, it's always so sad to think all of the students killed would have been well into adulthood now.
