I've seen it written before that his outfit during the shooting was based of a "Wild West style Gunslinger" Though I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't look towards the man with no name character played by Clint Eastwood as an influence when it came to choosing his clothing for the shooting.

He liked mainly the same, I only got the information of what films Brian liked from looking at photos of his room from the EXPLORE WITH US video on the case. Specifically, Torey's locker had posters from Friday the 13th and Scream on it.
