Being a researcher spoils fun

Hi! I was watching the Bold Type tonight and I forgot the one character said she was from Colorado. They started debating on guns because one of the characters has a gun and the character from Colorado said her first grade teachers daughter died and of course my first thought was I have to ask if this is accurate?? Was any of the victims parents a teacher?


Is this accurate? Also do you ever watch something true crime related then get caught up in inaccuracies then it ruins everything?
