what would you say to them

If you could go back in time, to that morning, when Eric & Dylan first met up and were making the final basement tape, after they had finished, you showed up and you knew what their intentions were. They wouldn't be able to hurt you or anything but what would you say to them? I'm curious and hope to get some interesting answers.

Right off the top of my head I’d tell Eric to leave town, don’t look back, don’t let the zombies win and turn you into the bad guy everyone is making you out to be. Take up boxing, make the bloodiest most violent film possible and produce it, put it online... Channel your energy. You’re worth so much more.

Dylan I think is harder, I think he was so far gone. I’d probably give him a hug and tell him he’s right, he’s smart and it’s not easy not fitting in and not only that but feeling so different for so long you feel like you can never find your way back and it may never get easier but being remembered for this will never be okay. He’s worth more than this and is loved and can be loved if he just gives himself a fighting chance. He’s never been out of Littleton, he’s never been out of his own head. He doesn’t have to live in pain.
