His childhood seemed terrible. His mother hated him before he was even born (said that he was "kicking her on purpose") and stopped breastfeeding him because she felt he was "sucking the life out of her". His mother was also abusing him both physically and emotionally but when this was brought up to social services, they failed to remove him from his mothers custody and give his father custody of him. His actions are inexcusable but his early life was awful.

I read an article about that, really disturbing. He had also read that his mother told him that he was a "Monster" among other things, and left him alone and neglected for long periods of time. I wonder why social services did not act in the right way.

I dont think thats him as a child, I think that might be him in his early 20s?

I did not realize Matthew Murray committed his shooting in the Denver Metro area too... Arvada isn't very far. There was also another shooting in Arvada over the summer.
