You guys probably already know this, but having just researched it, federal law doesn't require states to make mental health records part of the background check. This needs to change. We need federal law to require every state to make all mental health records part of a background check.

I don't see video games taking the blame at all though. All I see is people complaining about people blaming video games.

Eyewitness reports are wrong all the time, I doubt a bunch of gamers are going to know what different calibres sound like.

I guess the separation wasn't enough to make him not become a mass shooter. I think a fair few mass shooters are like that too - they have terrible lives/situations, then things improve only for some switch to be flipped and they decide to go berserk anyway. It's odd.

I would literally be broken beyond repair if either of my children could ever say those words and have any true justification to back it up.

It's interesting how people are so completely devoid of humanity that they don't notice that he's emaciated. Like it's the first thing I saw.

I think that gamer community is incredibly toxic because of lack of mutual support and dog eat dog mentality. Funny thing is that this very event made tech-bros from Tumblr axe the TCC. I mean they literally tolerated a fandom to the neo-Nazi Dylann Roof for like 5 years, tolerated Cruzers and what made them  take any action (before they got bored and forgot about it) was a few tech-bros getting gunned down. It's like they have very limited humanity even for people inside of their clique and complete lack of humanity for everyone else.

He obviously didn't shoot them because he lost, or maybe it was a condition but not the reason. He already had the guns and ammos with him. He had mental health issues and a toxic relationship with his mother.
