Shooter that slipped through the most cracks in society

Which shooter would you say showed the most red flags and got away with everything?

I'd say either Wayne Lo or Eric Harris.

Wayne Lo because, despite being a racist outcast at school, the following happened:

less than 12 hours before the shooting, a teacher at the school found ammunition that wayne purchased. she notified school directors who asked wayne if she could see the contents of his package, which he refused. So her and another director searched the room and found nothing. wayne was suspected to have no weapons in his possession and was dismissed. multiple students had actually made complaints of seeing wayne stockpiling ammunition but the associate dean refused to investigate.

then on that same night, an anonymous caller reported to school officials that wayne had weapons and was going to kill the family of the directors that searched his room. the caller said they had dinner with wayne that night. this was brought up to the directors and they went to live at an associate's house and reported to the police about this. this was never followed up and wayne shot the school up at 10:20 p.m.

and Eric Harris because Brooks Brown's family filed 17 charges against him and none of them were followed up.

Did anyone get away with more or with greater magnitude?

Agreed! It's a toss up between Cruz and Kelly.

I'd say Omar Mateen. Omar talked about bringing a gun to a corrections officer training class after Virginia Tech, had claimed that Osama Bin Laden was his uncle and taught him how to shoot AKs, had cheered in support of the 9/11 hijackers and imitated an exploding plane on the school bus. Also made sexist, homophobic and racist comments and talked about killing people and beat his wife.

Martin Bryant waved most of the red flags that existed back in the 1990s, and he said he would like to shoot people. He had a long history of Tormenting people as well.

Yeah, Devin Kelley's very high up there, i'll add another one.

Kevin Neal is very high up there because of "two alleged felonies, and five alleged misdemeanors", he had a restraining order, was bailed out of jail, was visited 21 times by police, he stabbed his neighbor (that's the biggest reason), physically hurt his mom and harassed neighbors.

Yeah, i agree with that too.

I think Thomas Hamilton showed several red flags, he was reported to the Police over 10 times for abusing children, threatened to kill a parent with a gun, had a very short and violent temper, and even one of the gun clubs he attended called the Police and reported his strange behaviour.

I'm kind of stunned that he was allowed to keep guns in his house with that kind of rap sheet. Which reminds me...

John Zawahri isn't as severe as most of the people listed here already, but I feel the need to ad him here since he had been put in a psychiatric hospital after having made threats against students and staff at his school, and having made internet searches for bomb materials. He still obtained a firearm by only purchasing parts of the guns and building it up from what he ordered online.

Ethan Crumbley.

He sent his mother texts about 'demons' and 'ghosts' being in his house. He also tortured animals, including taking a baby bird's decapitated head to school, made Molotov cocktails (and posted a video of using them to YouTube), and drew a sketch of himself committing a school shooting.

Despite all this, his parents still bought him a handgun.

And that's not even including the events of 30 November, most notably the now-infamous "LOL I'm not mad at you" text.

Brandon Scott Hole. He was reported to the police by his mother and had a shotgun removed from him a year before the shooting. An FBI agent even told Brandon's mother that "Your son hits every red flag for a mass shooter".

The FBI agent said Brandon hit every red flag because he was a loner who had no gf which is extremely stupid. Also he only had one incident with the police where he only talked about hurting himself, not others. Besides that he had no red flags.
