What if the police went into the library, and caught one of them? I wonder what the other one do?

I like this question because it is harkens back to the van break in. Dylan had said it was both of their ideas for Eric said it was Dylan’s idea

I also feel like if there was a bullet left in either of their guns they just would have shot themselves or tried to do suicide by cop

They would blow their own heads off quickly.
But what if swat & cops came with E&D parents?
Or what if the boys had their phones with them and their parents called them?

In my opinion, both were too far gone in April 99 to go back. Krabbe might disagree though.

Eric and Dylan didn’t have cell phones anyway it was the late 90s they weren’t prevalent

They probably just would’ve committed suicide or ran off I think they were just so far gone it wouldn’t matter
