All members (old and new) should read this thread for updated rules and other forum information.

Registration and account information

To register, you must use a valid email address. Once you register, an activation link will be sent to your email address. You will have 48 hours to activate your account and log into the forum. Failure to do so and your account will be deleted from the database and you will have to re-register. Keep usernames clean. Any offensive or derogatory usernames will be deleted without warning.

Prohibited usernames

These usernames are not allowed to be used on the forum. * Please note that this list will be updated if and when more names are added to this list.

- Dylan and/or Dylan Klebold
- Eric and/or Eric Harris
- Reb
- Vodka
- Adam and/or Adam Lanza
- Smiggles
- Nikolas and/or Nikolas/Nik Cruz
- Vladislav/Vlad and/or Vladislav/Vlad Roslyakov
- Dimitrios and/or Dimitrios Pagourtzis
- Dylann and/or Dylann Roof
- James Holmes (James is a common name and can be used as long as it isn't in any relation to "James Holmes")
- Seung-Hui Cho
- Elliot and/or Elliot Rodger


If you have a post count of 0 and go longer than 28 days without logging into the forum, your account will be permanently deleted due to inactivity and you will have to re-register.

If you have not logged into your account within the past 2 years (730 days) and you have a post count of 10 or less, your account will be permanently deleted from the database.

Changing username or account email address

If you would like to request a username change or would like to change the email address linked to your forum account, please contact me through private message. Members are permitted 3 username changes per year.

Personal Information

Personal photographs are allowed to be used as avatars and shared on the board. Any inappropriate pictures will be removed immediately and you could lose your ability to post pictures and/or receive a temporary ban.

Posting pictures of yourself dressed up as a school shooter is not allowed.

Please do not post private email addresses, phone numbers or links to personal accounts on the forum. If you would like to share or trade this information with other forum members, it must be done through private messages.

Private Messages

Once you have a post count of 10, your private messaging will be automatically activated. The forum rules apply to private messages as well. Private messaging is not meant to be used to harass, threaten or intimidate other members. At any time, without warning, the forum staff can ban your private messaging privileges if you are misusing your private messaging.


It is against the forum rules to share any of the following information within private messages.

- How to build bombs/weapons
- How to acquire bombs/weapons
- How to prepare/plan/pull off a school shooting or any other type of crimes
- Materials needed to build bombs/weapons


If we are made aware of anyone sharing this type of information within private messages, you will be permanently banned from the forum.

Special Ranks

Special ranks are given out to the top contributors of the forum. There are 2 ranks that forum members could receive. Those ranks are "Top Contributor" or "Top 10 Contributor". To be considered a Top Contributor, you must be an active member on the forum for at least 30 days and you must contribute a minimum of 250 posts. Of your 250 posts, the majority of your posts must be made in the Columbine sections on the forum or any of the shooting/other crimes forums. If the majority of your posts come from the Miscellaneous section, you won't qualify to be a Top Contributor.

A Top 10 Contributor is the highest rank that you can receive here on the forum and this goes to the Top 10 members with the highest participation. These members have been here for a long time and have spent many hours researching and sharing facts, thoughts, and opinions.

To keep your spot on the Top 10 Contributor list or the Top Contributor list, you must remain active on the forum and continue to contribute. If you go inactive and/or stop posting or only make a few posts within the past 60 days, you will fall off the list. To get back onto the list, you must once again become active and contribute to the forum. Once you've contributed a fair amount of new posts, you will be re-added to the list.

If at any time you receive a temporary ban, you will be removed from the list for 6 months.

Avatars

Avatars are permitted on the forum. Nothing offensive though. Columbine related pictures can be used as avatars as long as they are not the suicide photos or any other death photos. Personal photos are allowed to be used as avatars as long as they are appropriate. GIF's are not allowed to be used as avatars.

Signatures

Signatures are available for all active members. Photos, videos and GIF's are not allowed to be used as signatures. Text only and the font size must not be any larger than a 14.

Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris suicide photos

The suicide photos of Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris are NOT permitted on the forum. This includes using them as avatars or posting them in the threads. If you are looking for the suicide photos, you can request them by sending me a private message.

Victim death photos and other death photos

Suicide photos, victim death photos, any death photos in general, photos of shooters/killers with their weapons, photos portraying sexual violence or any other photos portraying violence are NOT permitted to be posted on the forum.

Other prohibited material/posts not allowed on the public board

Making posts on how to create and/or acquire bombs, explosives, guns or any other kind of weapons is strictly forbidden. General discussion about bombs/guns used during Columbine is allowed but giving instructions on how to make/acquire these weapons will be deleted immediately and you will receive a warning. If you break this rule a second time, you will be permanently banned. No exceptions.

And also, hypothetical discussions about how you would commit a shooting or any other crimes are not permitted on this forum. You will be banned if you make posts on how you would pull off a shooting, what guns or weapons you'd use for a shooting or talking about how you'd pull off any other crimes.

Inappropriate photos are not allowed to be posted on the forum.

Posting on the forum (discussions and debates)

Please keep the discussions and debates on the forum civil. I realize that not everyone is going to agree and that's fine. Personal insults towards other forum members are not allowed. Insults towards the victims of the massacre are not allowed.

Saying things like "they deserved it" or "they were not victims" or "I wish the bombs would have worked" or "I'm gonna be a Columbine copycat" is not allowed. There's no reason whatsoever to insult a bunch of kids who were murdered. Have some respect for the victims and their families.

I'm highlighting this because this rule is one that has been broken many times and I want to make sure that everyone is aware of this.

Posting any private information about the victims of Columbine or any other people connected to Columbine is strictly forbidden.

This includes but is not limited to: photos, links to social media accounts, email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers, place of employment, names of other family members such as spouses and children.

This also applies to the families, friends, and acquaintances of Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris.

Threats towards other forum members or threats towards anyone, in general, will be reported. Anyone making posts or sending out private messages threatening to commit an attack of their own will be reported.

Normally those things would be allowed on the forum, but with the way things are now I've had to remove them. Even though they were posted for discussion purposes, some people consider that "promoting hate" or "promoting violence" and so I can't take any chances when it comes to stuff like that.

There have been so many shootings within the past year or so and I don't want anything on my forum that future shooters could have gotten from here. So I'm sorry that those threads have been removed but I am in the process of setting up a Discord for the forum (if I can figure out what the hell I'm doing) and hopefully, we can have more discussions there.

Don't worry about it. It's not your fault and it wasn't meant to be an argument. I should have edited the rules when I changed the rules. I was busy carrying on about it in other threads and never got around to actually changing the rule. I've done it now, so all is good.

Stupid question, Not that its related to me or anything but just some odd curiosity, if a user cant use a shooters name as their username, then what if they just wanted to use their real name instead but their real name is a shooters name? ex: Eric, Adam, Dylan etc. like what if they aren't really good with coming up with usernames and just decide "fuck it people can call me by my real name"
(To some this may be the dumbest question ive asked so far)

Similar question, why is James allowed when Eric, Dylan and Adam are banned? Those are common too just like James.

If someone requested the name "Eric", yea, I'd probably accept it. I won't accept stuff like "Eric Harris" or "Adam Lanza".

Is top contributor given out by you Jenn, or does the forum itself assign it based on an algorithm?
Just wondering how it works because I see people with 300 posts and somewhat low contribution points having it.

It's all given out by me. I make members "Top Contributors" once they have over 250 posts, they post often and the majority of their posts are actually contributing and not just posting in the "Off Topic" section.

I remove them once they go 60 days without contributing anything (inactivity). I'll add them back if they start contributing a good amount again.

With the actual "points"? Each topic created and each post made has a point value. They can range from 1 point (a topic or post in Off Topic) up to 500 points (creating a topic in "Thoughts on the Shooting). I also give new members 500 points if they create an Introduction thread.

The reputation is similar but with that, people have to actually give you a + to get those points. The contribution points are automatically added. No, because pictures of dead bodies aren't allowed on the forum anymore. No death photos at all.

Deaths photos are not allowed on the forum at all anymore. And yes, we've been removing death photos that were posted prior to that rule being put into place.

No, because pictures of dead bodies aren't allowed on the forum anymore. No death photos at all.

Is a photo of a mass shooter aiming their weapon during a mass shooting allowed? The photo I am going to post is a low-quality image and it makes it hard to tell whether or not he was shooting. I am also incapable of speaking in French. Should I risk it?

I also have a similar question about whether or not a low res image of a mass shooter looking at a mirror is acceptable. Do I have to pm both pictures?

Yes, I had put on word censorship because of all the spam accounts that kept joining just to post expletives all over the forum.

I've removed the censorship for now.

I wondered why certain words were changed into "Blueberry McFart Face" etc...

Yes, it's been really tough. The hardest on my mother as she's the one who found him and he lived with her.

She's just a real mess right now. We're just trying to be there for her and help her through this.
