"SEATTLE -- Police say there are "multiple victims" after a shooting Wednesday in North Seattle.
It happened in the area of 120th and Sand Point Way NE.
King County Metro says that a bus driver operating on Route 75 activated their emergency alarm and reported being shot at 4:05 p.m.
Metro said on Twitter that 12 other people were on the bus and none of them appeared to be injured.
The driver was hospitalized. The extent of their injuries is unclear.
There is a heavy police response in the area. Police said that one person has been detained.
No further details have been released as police are in the early stages of the investigation.
The Seattle Department of Transportation said people should seek an alternate routes.
All east and westbound lanes were blocked at NE 125th Street at Lake City Way NE. All north and southbound lanes were blocked on Sand Point Way NE at NE 115th Street.
King County Metro bus route 75 was being diverted around the scene."

At this point it doesn't look like it, but it is a shooting that has gained some media attention, so that says something I guess.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mass_shootings_in_the_United_States_in_2019 Even if you took out the shootings where no one died, the list would still be pretty long. However, the vast majority of these shootings, just like the vast majority of murders, come off as being spur-of-the-moment and not planned out to any genuine extent.
