For some reason I've been listening to Bones Library Suicide, I don't understand why, I don't even like rap unless its rap rock, maybe its because it makes me think about Columbine and Eric and Dylan after their suicides deeply? Idk, but for some reason I just like it I jsut can't seem to figure out why.

Texas Is The Reason - Back And To The Left
This song really reminds me of Eric and Dylan in general.
Lyrics:
This town was built on miles of hope And I dare you to give one reason to stay And maybe I won't go away
So far you only dared me once And I think we know that's not even close enough Not enough for me to stay
It costs so much I know But I guess I need to know What it would have felt like to be right
But I'm getting tired all over again So hurry up and get here because I'm still waiting... Just like I've always been
I'm getting tired of standing around Just sitting here and waiting to be found Same old shit just a different day
I'll wait around for one more day But I know that's what I will always say Will this ever be O.K.?
Hey now, we'll be around for one more day Hey now, we'll be around for one more day
I will always worry about you I will always stick up for you I will always worry about you I will always stick up for you

Definitely not the type of music Eric and Dylan listened to as far as I'm aware but Van Der Graaf Generator's "Man-Erg" is a brilliant progressive rock song that seems to be about someone similar in nature to the two.
The killer lives inside me: I can feel him move. Sometimes he's lightly sleeping in the quiet of his room, But then his eyes will rise and stare through mine, He'll speak my words and slice my mind inside. The killer lives. The angels live inside me: I can feel them smile, Their presence strokes and soothes the tempest in my mind And their love can heal the wounds that I have wrought. They watch me as I go to fall, well, I know I shall be caught, For the angels live. How can I be free? How can I get help? Am I really me? Am I someone else? But stalking in my cloisters hang the acolytes of gloom And Death's Head throws his cloak onto the corner of my room and I am doomed, But laughing in my courtyard play the pranksters of my youth And solemn, waiting Old Man in the gables of the roof, he tells me truth And I, too, live inside me and very often don't know who I am, I know, I'm not a hero, I hope that I'm not damned I'm just a man, and killers, angels, all are these, Dictators, saviors, refugees In war and peace As long as Man lives I'm just a man, and killers, angels, all are these, Dictators, saviors, refugees

Basically anything off of Symbols, XTORT, Herzeleid & Sehnsucht.. I say this because those were the albums that Eric seemed to primarily listened to.. and I can't blame him cause they're actually really good

Camber - Temporary Thought this stuff would set us up. All this seemed so necessary. Thought this stuff would set us up. Would set us up. We set us up.
All that shit dragged from the past. All that stuff was tertiary. All that stuff just held us down. It held us down.
It left us here reaching out. It left us cold. It left us here broken down. When what we needed was the thing we can't get back. It left us cold. Was the thing we can't get back. No we can't get.
Thought these things could fill us up. All these things were temporary. Thought these things could fill us up. Could fill us up. We set us up.
All the things we thought could last. Fatal fall the corollary. All these things they held us down. They held us down.
It left us here bleeding out. It left us old. It left us here full of doubt. What we conceded was the thing we can't get back. It left us old. Was the thing we can't get back. It left us here with the thing we can't get back.
It left us here with the thing we can't get back. We can't get back. We can't get back.

The Offspring - The Kids Aren't Alright
I was not a big fan of grunge music and sometime in 2000 I was at a girls place and she had this song playing. From the first time I heard it and up until this day, it makes me think of Harris and Klebold.

Not just Columbine, but killers in general. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It captures the anger, the loneliness, and the frustration. It is very primordial and fatalistic in it's nature.

Children Of Bodom's Punch Me I Bleed:
From the reign I've built of shame and guilt I go back and take a look At myself and what I have done so far At the bridge he's laying, waiting 'til light No choice to go back where He was okay to us You're to come and save me Going down I walk my way 'til now Deep to the obscurity Obliterating you in every way With my life's insanity Battered up again, I'm going right inside Curled up on the floor Wonder ways to kill the pain and What doesn't kill you will only make you pissed off! Sweep back to kill You can't make it go away So let's, take a shot at me Just when you punch me, I bleed! Going down I walk my way 'til now Deep to the obscurity Obliterating you in every way With my life's insanity No choice to go back where He was okay to us You're to come and save me! Going down I walk my way 'til now Deep to the obscurity Obliterating you in every way With my life's insanity

I always said when I’m gone, when I’m dead Don’t lay me down with the dirt on my head You won’t need a shovel, you don’t need a cold headstone You don’t need to cry, I’m gon’ be going home
I’m waiting for my spaceship to come back to me It’s coming back for me I don’t really care if you believe it’s coming back for me, yeah I been in a lonesome galaxy But in my dreams, I see them come ’n rescue me Look up in the sky and there they’ll be I bet you’ll think of me then You’re gonna say, “Ooh, look at that, oh yeah, yeah” Damn, if it ain’t true They’re coming back for me, they’re coming back for me, yeah
I knew from the start I don’t belong in these parts There’s too much hate, there’s too much hurt for this heart Lord knows this planet feels like a hopeless place Thank God I’m going back home to outer space
I’m waiting for my spaceship to come back to me It’s coming back for me I don’t really care if you believe it’s coming back for me, yeah I been living in a lonesome galaxy But in my dreams, I see them come ‘n rescue me Look up in the sky and there they’ll be I bet you’ll think of me then You’re gonna say, “Ooh, look at that, oh yeah, yeah” Damn, if it ain’t true They’re coming back for me, they’re coming back for me, yeah
I’m waiting for my spaceship to come back for me And I don’t really care if you believe me I been living in a lonesome galaxy But in my dreams, I see them come ‘n rescue me Look up in the sky and there they’ll be I bet you’ll think of me then You’re gonna say, “Ooh, look at that, oh yeah, yeah” Damn, if it ain’t true They’re coming back for me, they’re coming back for me, yeah
As I leave this Earth and sail into the infinite cosmic universe, the wars, the triumphs, the beauty, and the bloodshed, the ocean of human endeavor, it all grows quiet, insignificant. I’m nothing more than recycled stardust and borrowed energy, born from a rock, spinning in the aether. I watch my life backwards and forwards and I feel free. Nothing is real, love is everything, and I know nothing.
Makes me think of dylan in the end

Suicide Commando - Die Motherfucker Die
Lost in a world full of hate In a world fed by envy Disgusted by the scum of the earth Treating you as some dirt Rejected by your own flesh and blood Feed the pain, feeding my hurt Stabbed in the back by your friends See the blood on their hands
Lost in a mind full of pain It’s slowly driving you insane Self inflicting torture and pain Put the gun to your brain Cursed by the devil his blood Feel the pain, feeling my hurt Stoned and betrayed by your friends Wash the guilt from their hands
Die motherfucker die Piece of shit, fucking lowlife My vengeance will be pure and so sweet Now I’m watching you bleed
Die motherfucker die Piece of shit, fucking lowlife This one is for my hatred And this (one) will make the suffer complete
Suicide Commando - Death Cures All Pain (reminds me of Dylan in a way)
Suicide Never hides Always lurks my way Immolate Suffocate Nothing stops this pain Cut to bleed Cut to die Well, these feelings will never die Will death cure all pain? When life leaves nothing Will death cure all pain? When love means nothing Will death cure all pain? God, will it hurt just a little? Suicide Dead inside Never leaves my way Overdose Comatose I can't bear this pain Cut to feel Cut to heal Well, these wounds will never heal Will death cure all pain? When life leaves nothing Will death cure all pain? When love means nothing Will death cure all pain? God, will it hurt just a little? Will it hurt just a little?

"Rubicon" by KMFDM
Ru·bi·con | \ ˈrü-bi-ˌkän: a bounding or limiting line especially : one that when crossed commits a person irrevocably
There are a couple passages from this song that make me think of 4/20, especially:
"Violence for inner peace Bombing for therapy Terror is everything you need"
&
"Natural selection is based on deception The ignorant elder empowers the youth"
The album was released on 4/20/1999 as well.

You'll Rebel To Anything by Mindless Self Indulgence.
The song is about the alternative crowd in general, but it mostly reminds me of how non-alternative people talk about Eric and Dylan and similar shooters like Jeff Weise, or anyone who fits the archetype of looking or acting like a "school shooter". But I think there's a valid criticism to be made here in some respects.
You need a uniform So you won't be ignored You are affected And so you're accepted
It's time you invested in a bottle of poison So we don't have to hear about you bitchin and moanin You think you could afford a fuckin bottle of asprin
Boo fuckin hoo you're not the only one whose live's a piece of shit And yet miraculously somehow we all seem to deal with it Did anybody think that you would really seriously slit your wrists In fact I think that everybody thinks you're seriously full of shit
