So I was watching this vid here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and then I remember an article I read here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
And it got me thinking what if someone made a virtual Columbine and you could put yourself in the shoes of Eric or Dylan as opposed to being just a spectator? What if people planning on doing shootings made their own virtual maps of their target locations? Similar to how Eric supposedly made Doom maps of Columbine (did he really?)

I feel like this could turn into a Black Mirror episode...

Eric did not make columbine doom maps, he made maps in doom that are still circulated that were meant for multiplayer deathmatches. I have them and while they do have some creativity in them, they really are nothing special. There is a mod that people made of an inaccurate map of columbine and you play as either dylan or eric and I read somewhere you can actually play it in VR.
To be honest I support video games no matter how controversial, offensive, gory, sexual, etc. they are. To me its an escape from reality and can relieve thoughts/actions of actually doing illegal things.
Blaming video games on shootings or violent crimes is ridiculous to me, IMO it all comes down to how the child was raised, chemicals in the brain, and how much help they have/can seek out. I've been playing violent video games since I was like 6 and I've never committed acts of violence.

I know someone who is making a virtual columbine in roblox of all things, here's some pictures. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] He also has some scarily accurate looking recreations of the suicide pictures, but you'll have to dm me to see those.
