I find this absurd too. Especially since he had assault weapons for a whole year. He was pretty much a walking breathing red flag.

And think of how many other kids out there have been arrested for much less than he did.

There was a case of these two 16 year olds talking about shooting up the school in the hallway. Someone overheard and took a picture of them and showed it to the school. They were arrested, and the police said they “truly believed they had saved countless lives.” It was on the news and everything!

Cruz should have been in jail a long time ago. I think the reason why he wasn’t is because people felt bad for him for being autistic. The school would tell people who reported him that he was autistic and they needed to give him a break.
