Lost Eric's wads

My first thread here!
I asked myself this time ago, how could be possible some wads of Eric Harris didn't lost and anothers like "Realdeth, techout or thrasher" (for not mention anothers) get lost if were at one of their sites?
Just that.

Our only hope is at least one of lost be founded or someone for some weird reason have it (I doubt it however that)

The reason we have some is that someone downloaded them before the site was taken down. However the site was removed before all could be downloaded.

There is a theory out there that someone who Eric shared his wads with may still have them but no one has ever come out about it

As I understand, the person who downloaded just could download some of them, not all.
About last, I pray for that be truth that.

I highly doubt anyone still has Eric's wads in 2019.. How many computers have you guys gone through since 1998? I wouldn't have kept such a prehistoric computer. I'm also part of the Doom community and there is no sign of them, not to mention wads from the last five years have vanished off the face of the planet as nobody kept a copy of it.

Speaking of computers, I'm old enough to remember Windows 95 and 98. I also remember AIM, because I used it.

Also do you all remember the abbreviation A/S/L? It stood for age, sex and location.

Btw I asked later why when sites were closed people who downloaded them (I think could be very possible when shooting happened could be very possible some people had that lost wads) people didn't redistribute them as anothers.

My theorie is maybe were very "shitty" and didn't pay off upload them.

I'd love to see realdeath and TIER, but I doubt they exist anymore, unless an old friend of Harris boots up their old 90s computer, but even then I doubt they'd want to upload them.

About what you said... yeah but in my case I would like see them all (lost) and Tier more.
And only hope is contact to Nate Dykeman or Chris Morris (maybe they could tell you about them)
And If was me I couldn't have any problem upload them.

I loved, and even in some ways miss, the 1995-2000 Internet. That was the Wild West days...
