Richard Trenton Chase

Richard Trenton Chase was a serial killer who murdered and mutilated 6 different people in the late 1970s. Before his murderous acts he had been in trouble with the law for bathing in and drinking cow blood among other things.

I have nothing to comment on his serial murders, I hope his victims and him rest in peace. The only thing I want to comment is about his relation with dead animals and experimenting on other animals. How didn't he got rabid after doing so much things related with animals? Such as "capture, kill, and disembowel various animals, which he would then devour raw, sometimes mixing the raw organs with Coca-Cola in a blender and drinking the concoction." According to him it was "preventing his heart from shrinking." While I don't know of medicals benefits (if a such experiment like that brings it), I'm just baffled how he didn't got sick with rabies. Sorry if that was a bit strange to say, but it's because I have phobia from Rabies.

He apparently took drugs from a very early age including LSD and marijuana. That may explain his abnormal behavior (to some extent).

As for his lack of disease I'm as puzzled as you are. Perhaps he was just lucky?

Thanks for the reply. I agree with you. He was probably very, very lucky. I got bitten by a dog in the face after playing with it, then (yes, stupid) attempting to fetch the bone from its mouth in, I believe, 2016, but I only got pain for some weeks. The dog belonged to a barber shop to who with the owner I was friend's with, so I think I escaped because he was probably vaccinated. In the same street the incident occurred, another incident occurred some years ago or after. I got scratched by a cat in the face while holding and caress it. The cat happened to be from the house from a girl I was friend's with, but this time the cats weren't vaccinated because there were more than three cats, so I think I got lucky this time. I was very worried because of that two incidents.

An interesting thing that Richard Chase used to do when approaching a house was to check the front door and if it was locked he would leave. But if it was unlocked he would take that to mean he could enter the home and do as he pleased in there. (Kind of relates to his nickname the vampire of Sacramento as they say a vampire cannot enter unless your home unless you give them permission though he took it in a different way.)

Also there is a movie called Rampage from 1987 based around the crimes of Richard Chase it's directed by William Freidkin the same guy who directed The Exorcist.
