Trevor Deely was a 22 year old Irish man who went missing in December, 2000. His disappearance led to a lot of unanswered questions and suspicious behavior in the months and years after the event. He has been missing for coming up to 20 years this month.

I remember seeing this on Reddit. Thanks for posting it here. The circumstances are really disturbing, specially considering this man in black clothing. I hope his family gets some closure some day, however, I think he's likely dead, sadly.

I think he was murdered. The person following him down the street is definitely suspicious and probably spells the end to his life.

Yes the man is the most likely answer for Deely's murder. Also, I wonder if this same man could also be responsible for others possible murders or crimes in the area, though I'm not sure he would get away with the "previous" crimes. I got this theory after reading the "Crumlin-based criminal known to Gardaí" information on Deely Wikipedia's article. This criminal was from a gang that had previously killed Sinead Kelly in 1998. I think the Gardaí said at the time that they had not found anything that would assist them in the case. But I think this theory might be plausible.

It could also have something to do with the girl he traveled overseas to see, too. A lot of weird events transpired in Trevor's life before his disappearance.
