Lars Mittank was a German man who went missing in July, 2014. In the days preceding his disappearance he was acting strangely, including exhibiting symptoms of schizophrenia and getting into fights.
Lars was last seen running away from an airport after he was supposed to fly home after recovering from a sustained ear injury.

I remember this case. Very sad and creepy. Do you think his body might be in the woods but it is covered by the wooded area? Is it known to be heavily wooded? Strange all around.
Also, I would like to mention another missing person case from 2014: Meta Price Valentine, who went missing in October 2014. The case also has CCTV footage, which shows Valentine walking to her apartment when she suddenly stops, looks around and then walks fast to the apartment, then a man runs after her. The man was later identified as Reginald McDowell. She was never seen again and, also, McDowell fled after the investigations in 2018.
The case is obscure and I think it should deserve more attention.
Good post, regards!

He could be anywhere, perhaps even kidnapped after the fact. Thanks for showing that second case - it reminds me of a few I've looked into in the past.
