It's interesting that he was so concerned with how he looked in the photo. That photo is unnerving to say the least and the fact that he disliked it makes it seem even more strange.

What’s strange to me is that he complained about really insignificant things (“my head was turned slightly to the right”) but not about how his eyes looked.

Well, it’s the closest to a smile we could get from him. Of course, unless you count his childhood pictures and maybe the one from the tech club.

Yeah. But it’s actually Dylan who always kinda looked like a Jewish Lovecraft to me. Though I’m not sure if Lovecraft would be ok with being Jewish...
