That’s a great idea IMO! It helps if the content expires or is behind a paywall.

There really isn't any rule in place on how to share stories. You can either copy/paste the link or you can post the story using photos/screenshots if you prefer. I guess it just depends on what the user's preference is but there is no right or wrong way.

I like it when people copy the article directly rather than post the link.
I find that being in the UK sometimes restricts content I can see from US based websites. I’m not sure if that’s because of the settings on my phone or what but it’s frustrating when I click a link and can’t get to the article! I get messages like ‘this pages is unavailable in your region’ and such.
Hello Jenn. I have an idea for a new forum rule. Instead of posting links to stories, how about users just copy and paste the story. That way we can still access the content even if the link expires.
uh that could get this forum sued for copyright violation.
If those stories are posted by numerous individual forum members, rather than a concerted effort by the forum owners, I can't see how they could.
Best they could do would be to file a "please remove XYZ" request and then MAYBE have some legal action if that's ignored. Forum could quote fair use by individual forum members, as this is not posted by a bot or the system.

Its easier just to use AMP pages and for accessing the "blocked due to legal reasons and" try pasting the link in waybackmachine and then posting it in the thread.
