Michael Carneal(1997 Heath High school shooting) was/is up for parole. The decision was delayed until Monday. When he was fourteen years old, he opened fire on a school church group during their morning prayer, killing three and injuring another five. After being diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia(originally the diagnosis was dysthymia and schizotypal personality disorder) he was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole after 25 years. I was just wondering if anyone thinks he'll actually be released and if he is, what it would mean in general for the West Paducah community.

Okay. I didn't know that. I live in the UK, so US laws aren't really a strong point of mine.

I hate to have to say this again, but to me, this is another really interesting case and I would have for it to devolve
