Chat log with SixteenBitElder

This has probably been discussed before, but does anyone have many thoughts about the chat log with SixteenBitElder? Like how he knew him? I can't recall mass murder being something they talked about which I find odd. The old forum and tumblr seemed to have been his main source of socialising online, and both of those were dedicated to mass murder.

I also find it strange that Adam saved the chat log but didn't save any other chat logs. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but could that indicate that he considered this person or their conversation somehow special to him? The 'jokey' flirting makes me think it's possible he was attached to this person as more than an acquaintance too. I don't know, I'm kinda rambling, but this chat log stands out to me for some reason.

Nobody knows. Maybe he just "misplaced" this chat log and forgot to delete it like he deleted the others?

Idk, to me it seems like his usual manner of talking to people on the internet. It’s pretty much in line with his SCMRPG posts.

One more thing - we know Lanza was not above communicating via private message on the forums. There were people who shared these messages later on (and in one of them Lanza confirmed that he is experiencing psychotic episodes).


What I mean to say: If he did it on the forum, he may have done it in other places. IIRC, youtube back in 2010 still had a feature that allowed you to send private messages to other users via that platform.


For the record: Lanza never sent me any private messages. I can't remember if it was because he never tried, or because I turned down a friend invite from him.
