In your opinion?

Listening to music nowadays is just depressing as hell. Too much auto-tune, artists not writing their own music, playing no instruments. Don't get me wrong there are a few good songs out there but music is nothing like it once was.

If I could pick just one year and say it was the best year for music, I'd say 1994. What about you?

Just one year is to hard to pinpoint, as I like music from the 60's on up. But I completely agree with you on the depressing state of music today.
